please check menu > settings > map - objects & styles > icon for tracks and here select "no symbol". This will get rid of icons in corners.

Fact that you see blue dots instead of blue pushpins is because in KML file in not exactly defined icon. There is just empty style. So Locus do not know what icon use so it use simply blue dot instead. If you know system of KML files, you may easily fix this manually.
