A want to add curvy road information to the Locus Pro maps. What I have is a bunch of kml files that are big 7MB+ and when I import a file to Locus the system slows to a crawl. Is the overlay the answer or what can you suggest? Is there another place to get curvy road information, this would be Fantastic for the motorcycle enthusiasts out there. Please be easy on me I am new to Locus Pro.  Also how do i add a picture here??

Are these curvy roads official roads?

If yes, you could map them on OSM and use the appropriate online map.
Just an idea.

The kml file shows the curvy roads when loaded to Google earth. When I import the file to locus, the program makes hundreds of tracks and crashes.

Also, yes they are official paved roads, problem is that it would take forever to map the individual tracks. Any ideas to display these great curvy roads? Does locus pro have anything in the works to map out curvy roads?

Another example showing the curvy roads of Austria.  :)

I am attaching the smallest of the curvy road files I have. Darn, still too big.

Hello JoeR, please attach any file so I can also test it. Without a file, I cannot help. Ah and also what version of Android you have on your Xperia Z?

I sent a file share request to support.locus@asamm.com

I hope that gets around the big file limitation

thanks for a sharing.

I've imported Czech Republic file into Locus database. More then 4MB KML, more then 2000 tracks and during run it took almost 30 MB of memory.

It works, but it's really slow. As I see, there is not much you can do. What I suggest is to separate files to smaller. Files with max 500 tracks (around 1 MB), should work fine on your device. 2000 tracks at once on map is just too much on current system that exists in Locus, sorry.

EDIT: or, you should import all tracks into any Locus folder. Then center map to current location and  go into this folder (Data > Tracks). Here tap on bottom to "Sort > Distance to start" and after tracks sort, tap on "Select > First X tracks" and choose some smaller number. With this you should see only tracks you need, not all. This should work fine.
