On my first flight with Locus I used a gps mouse and got 15 and more satelites displaid. But none could be used by Locus : --/20.
There were strong signals, but no fix in Locus?
No way using Locus in flights?

On the next flight with intern gps in Samsung S3mini the same: many sats, but none in Locus  --/18.

Did you get no fix at all or only as long as the plane was staying on ground?
With S3 I made the experience that the fix got lost after some time in air like above a certain speed. But on the other hand somewhere over the Atlantic the fix was gained again and some time later it was lost again during landing phase. So, I do not have a clear opinion about that, it's more that it is kinda unstable.

I only tried in flight. The satelites were received, but did not produce a fix.

Can you get a fix with some other app i.e.gps status ? :
https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... gpsstatus2
Because maybe it's not a bug of locus but a bug in S3?

After googling arround in forums I found several posts with gps fix problems. It seems to be dependent on the gps chipset in your device(s) if it can handle the high speed of an airplane (that would explain the display of many satelites without a fix).

I have to correct: in both cases I used not an external gps mouse, but the intern S3mini gps. You may right  it will not work with 900km/h
