This sounds simple but the answers still eludes me:

If I open a new map, and turn on the gps ... how do I make the map centre itself on my current gps location?

And ... How do I keep the map centred as I move with tracking turned on?

Both should be possible with

Besides you can use
http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php/manual ... ap_control "Hold center method" enabled.
