Since yesterday I have my new Motorola Razr Maxx.
For some reason locus does give a GPS fix, but no satelites are visible.
Is there any explaination for this?

Are you logged in in a WiFi Network?. In this case there is an explanation. Locus doesn't use only GPS fix but is also happy if you use a WiFi network and someone (or not unlikely you) had a GPS fix while logged in in this WiFi network. From that moment on the location of this WiFi network is known. This is a feature from Google which Locus (and also Google Maps) makes use of.

I had a wifi connection, but I also had this using a 3G connection without wifi.
Could this also be the same?

:?:And, more importent, does this mean that the GPS is not working in Locus?:?:
I did not saw any satelites while driving for half an hour and sometimes the position was way off.
Btw. GPS was/is switched On and Google Navigation worked fine during the drive.

Found something on XDA. It looks like a bug, both Glonass and GPS work, but no locked satellites are shown in test apps (eg. GPS Test) according XDA members.
The Android GPS fix icon is not shown on the right side of the notification bar, but on the left. Look like the Motorola guys have been fiddling around with this in the 4.0.4 Android firmware.
I will test functionality tomorrow.

I just updated to a new (leaked) firmware version of the phone. This solved the issue.
