Hello,

since a few weeks i´m a pro user, because this program is awesome.

Ok, to my problems:
I´m using the Data-Import feature zu import a gpx-file from a server (created automatically by a script).
Because the URL is verly long (with Parameters for the script) I used the bit.ly URL shortener service. But Locus doesn´t accept the new Url. It would be nice, if Locus can follow this kind of urls with status "HTTP/1.1 301 Moved".

Another thing I noticed is, that the URL text field seems to be a normal text box and i get dictionary suggestions here, which makes no sense. I have no idea of programming, but maybe there is a deticated URL Textbox?

Edit: And onother question: It seems to be that only the <desc>-tag in gpx-files is recognized as a description, not the <cmt>-tag, is it possible to add the cmt-tag?

Hello,
good ideas, I'll look at it tomorrow

about cmt tag. It's already parsed but it's not visible. I had no idea where to display this information so I don't included it. What text it usually contain? Should I merge desc and cmt tags? Have no experience with it so suggestions are welcome

Thx a lot, importing from bit.ly works fine.

I also have no idea about the cmt tag, i found on the internet:
<cmt> GPS comment of the waypoint
<desc> Descriptive description of the waypoint

I already asked the script owner to change the cmt-tag to a desc-tag and he will soon.
