Hi there,

I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace and am going to Cuba for the holidays. :D  :D  :D  Now they don't have internet access wireless there :o , so I wonder how I could use Locus the best way.
I have been busy trying to use Mobac to generate a map (less detailed for the entire country, but detailed for the big cities). I am not sure if I could be able to navigate, when there is no internet access though...
All tips to use this magnificent app on my holiday are welcome!!

Thanks in advance!

I suggest you both to download the vector maps from
- vector maps addon for Locus Pro: //https://market.android.com/details?id=menion.android.locus.addon.vectorMaps01
or from //http://www.vectormaps4locus.eu

Without internet connection, you won't be able to calculate routes with online services. But you still can calculate routes before you go on holidays and save them.
To try everything, you can do this in your home country ;)

Thanks berkley,
I have the vector map addon already since summer and I'm just preparing the routes I'll follow next week on Madeira.

Cheers

Ah, you can't calculate when you are offline... mmm pity....
I don't think I'm able to plan my routes that specific for a four week holiday, so this is nog the solution I am looking for... Darn have to do without navigation in Cuba :(

By the way, Madeira is small enough to do without navigation and there is normal coverage for wireless internet :) Have fun there and if you are there on newyearseve be carefull on the boulevard !!
