Top menu bar missing or perhaps covered by unit's menu.
This is an Android car head unit.
The top menu isn't "hidden", it is missing or covered by the Atoto menu?.
Is there any way to display the Locus top menu bar below the Atoto menu bar?

This is Locus Map 3 Classic (3.63) Running on Android 10 on a Atoto S8 Gen 2 head unit.

Hello, this is really interesting. I've never seen such a screen/device.

Anyway hard to say why the top panel is not visible. The app should not draw its content under any panel if not supported by the system. Double-tap on the map screen do nothing? Isn't possible that full-screen is enabled (if this is an older app version)? Btw. did you tried a Locus Map 4 version, that has the main menu at the bottom and at the top is only info panel?

This is a dash mounted android car head unit, like this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HNL9753/
There are lots of them and these are pretty common and a great way to run off road apps and stuff like the torque app in the vehicle. Perfect place for Locus maps!
More tech info on these here:

Tapping doesn't bring anything up.
Locus 4 does work better and is my current solution...

Very interesting, thanks for the info!

Locus Map is anyway made mainly for hike & bike and without this unit in my hands, I may hardly do something with it. And because Locus Map 4 seems to work correctly, there is nothing I may easily do for you. Thanks for understanding.

I get it. I will stick with "4"... guess it's time to go with the more modern solution. ;-)
