"Included" trails and tracks???

Hello everyone,

I am using Locus with Android tablet mounted on my motorcycle with the purchased Locus maps for WA state, Utah etc.

Sometime the maps will show what I think are "community" or user submitted trails/tracks. Some are red, some are purple etc. In most cases this leads to a confusion as they may overlay the motorcycle offroad tracks and I end up where I should not.

How can I disable this "feature" and only show the loaded tracks?

Thanks for your help!

Did you try to switch off the features in the theme selection menu?

You also may have a look at the OpenAndroMaps (OAM - openandromaps.org)? They come with highly sophisticated themes to control what you see.

I did try to find in in the menus, nothing that would allow me to switch them off found - thus the question.

I am using the Locus maps because I already paid for them and I like to support the developers of the Locus app (I also got the pro version). But it would be nice to disable these. Example (all of the Orange and red are NOT any tracks I added)

Hello Tomas,
as Michael wrote, check the map theme. This may be done in the side content panel. Check our manual here, hope this helps.

PS: a sustainable support of the Locus team is easily manageable: they now offer LM4 via subscription.
https://www.locusmap.app/premium
I have both, LM Pro and LM4 installed and they share the maps (LoMaps plus OAM) as well as the track/points DB.
PPS: and the hiding works - "INTERNAL THEMES" - "Hike&Bike" - "Hiking Trails" - nice place near Mt. Rainier, WA :-)
Cheers
Michael
