Hello

Is there a way, how I can join two sqlitedb maps from different regions but from same mapsource together?
I have downloaded several maps with MOBAC from separate small regions, to avoid to get millions of tiles, when downloading the whole region containing all small regions.

It must be possible, locus does it all the times, when collecting new tiles into his online maps.
Is there a tool or is it possbible in MOBAC?

Thanks, frank

try it

eg

create a dir "mixmap" in locus/maps/
move all your maps to "mixmap"
start locus
now you should see a new map in personal, called "mixmap"

Hello Frank
Quoteor is it possbible in MOBAC?
if you download maps with mobac the tiles are stored in the tilestore on your PC.
So for example, if you download first island "Wangerooge" and then "Spiekeroog" these tiles are stored. If you now select an area over both islands an create a new map mobac, download only the missing tils from internet.
It is also possible in mobac to create maps in "Polygonmode"  > Maps/Selection/Polygon
Ore creating a map along a track for a biketour, see

making maps for locus use RmapSqlite

Thank you! I knew that MOBAC stores all downloaded tiles in the tile store (depends on age settings), but I didn't knew the polygon feature.

I will try RmapSqlite now because the maps along a track is exactly what I need.

To go back to my initial question: locus does can join several maps, like gynta exampled?
I will retry this, if this works, locus is once more the super app :)

What a pity!

I have 52 Tracks to get maps from! But MOBAC only does one segment, not more than one :(
Damned! I don't have this time anymore to create 52 single maps and then (if this works for me) to join it with locus like said above.
I tested it, and indeed, only the tiles along the first track will be downloaded.

EDIT: sorry, I mixed my two threads here, I deleted my previous content about IGM maps

do you also read text under the movie?
This was a tip from rx, the developer of mobac ;)
QuoteWenn ein gpx-Track mehrere Segmente hat, kann man diesen auch verwenden. Man muß dann nacheinander die Segmente auswählen und mit "Add selektion" dem "Atlas Content" hinzufügen.

No, I didn't see this text.

This works indeedly! Thanks!

It is a bit long to add all those 52 tracks, and it has to be done very thorrowfull, a lot of concetration needed to avoid mistakes.
Hopefully I will get it on time (tomorrow going on hike tour).
