I understand that a browser system no longer makes sense when there are hundreds of categories. I don't understand though what this "display only highlighted LoPoints" option has to do with the browser system – it's two separate decisions.

I'm confused: I see exactly 10 categories, which fit easily on one page. Is there a "prefilter" that I may have accidentally set?

Hi @mambofive,

the photo picker you're talking about is part of the system, and we are not able to affect its content from Locus. However, I'm not sure why your list of albums is empty. Which albums would you expect to see there? Google Photos albums?

Exactly, I selected "Google Photos" as cloud media app and have two buttons: "Photos" and "Albums".
"Photos" displays the photos ordered by date, "Albums" just displays nothing. I expected a list of my albums in the google photo app.

When adding older photos to LoPoints, you have to scroll to all photos to find them. So I tried to create a album for LoPoint photos in Google Photos in order to add the photos from there.

search > online > category > "Supermarket" > return map - OK
search > online > category > "Food & drink" > return map - but the new category is ignored, the slide up bottom panel still displays supermarkets

thank you for your report. The problem should be solved in the next release version.

I also noticed there's still something wrong with the previews: The track is not completely within the preview, previously there was some padding - see screenshot 1.
It's actually the same when using the Share/Export as "Image & stats" or "Track Overview" - see screenshot 2. I assume the same algorithm is used internally to calculate the "bounding box".

display only highlighted etc > sorry, not planned for now. There is hundreds of categories now and "Browser system" as for current offline LoPoints no longer makes sense. We need to implement access to the nearest LoPoints over search etc. If there is a problem with too much places on the map, we need to fix this by improving priorities and better placement of points on the map.

offline LoPoints > yes, system will be united for online & offline. Most probably in July version. New LoPoint database is almost finished.

indeed, online LoPoints does not work above any raster map. Bug! Thanks.

Kann es sein, dass der abgebrochene Vorgang die Daten auf dem internen Speicher verschoben, statt kopiert hat und durch den abgebrochenen Vorgang nun alles gelöscht ist?

Nein, da wirst Du nach dem Backup in irgend einer Weise datenlöschend agiert haben (z. B. durch den Versuch, mit Hilfe des schadhaften Backups die Daten wieder herzustellen).

Wenn Du automatische Backups in die Cloud aktiviert hast, solltest Du noch einmal in der Cloud nachschauen. Locus erzeugt in der Cloud Unterordner (z. B. "backup" oder "backup_manual"). Wenn Du dann noch von Zeit zu Zeit den Pfad geändert hast, entstehen schon mal in der Cloud unübersichtliche Verzweigungen von Pfaden. Suche mal in allen Unterordnern bis zu jeweiligen Pfadende durch, ob nicht doch noch ein neueres Backup zu finden ist...

Hast Du schon mal in den Backup-Ordner auf Deinem Handy geschaut?
