Interesting. Google refuses our updated version on the Google Play and no support currently help us. So the final version will be delayed. It is good news on the second side. Week more for testing  .

The new "Release candidate" Beta will be published during the next few hours.

Thanks to all for the help with the search for minor UI glitches. We are also still finding some problems, but fortunately, not a major one.

small issues in point/track info > detailed feedback, thanks. All of them are not easily solvable. I'll try to look at it.

dashboard editor > missing lines are weird, fixed

I'm sorry for the problems, but I can hardly do anything about it now. If only problems remain the number of items in the folder, you may simply try to add/remove any content. Values should be recomputed.

Da macht Aktuell Google Probleme. Im Helpdesk habe ich gelesen damit es möglicherweise demnächst gelöst wird. Du kannst solange dein Backup aus dem Lokalen Backup verwenden. Ich habe dieses in meinen Download Ordner verlegt. Dort ist es sicherer wenn Locus mal deinstalliert wird.
Du kannst aber auch eine andere Cloud benutzen zB. Dropbox.

Hi,
ich wollte nach jahrelanger zufriedener Nutzung von Locus Pro nun endlich auf Locus 4 updaten und dazu vorher ein manuelles Backup meiner Daten vornehmen. Leider funktioniert das Backup nach Google Drive seit etwa Anfang November nicht mehr. Im Locus Store wird mein Google-Account richtig angezeigt, wenn ich trotzdem versuche, mich neu anzumelden, kommt (von Google) die Ausschrift
   Diese App ist blockiert
Auf den Webseiten von Google zum Thema "Über Google anmelden" bin ich nicht fündig geworden. Auch ein Neustart meines Smartphons hat nichts genützt.
Was kann ich nun tun?

Hi Locus Team!

I just deleted three larger GPX from the folder "Gesamtstrecken". Now there a four Trails. Going one step back in the folder Hierarchie, the amount of files in the folder "Gesamtstrecken" is still seven.

Because the trails are really large, Android did ask me if I want to stop Locus or just wait. I did stop and restarted Locus.

Speaking as a programmer myself, but you can't really expect all internal bookkeeping in a database to be correct if you kill a process while manipulating that database.

No offence meant.

I ignored it maybe twenty times before I stopped Locus.

Fair enough, I apologize. It sounded like the delete took a little longer, Android complained a little eagerly and you killed the process immediately, which would be, well, a little quick.

Ich habe die "wipe cache partition" heute mit Hilfe der KI  durchgeführt ...

Und ein erster Test heute zeichnete über eine Stunde und 20 km reibungslos alles auf (incl. Navigation und Zielführung) 👍
Ich hoffe das bleibt so

please unterstand, that I'm a user, not a programmer. I do not know, what a App does in the background. The tracks were already deleted before I went one level back in the file system. There I saw the mismatch and maybe 10 seconds afterwards Android showed me the message:

You cannot view this attachment.

I ignored it maybe twenty times before I stopped Locus.

Wipe phone cache partition unless already done
Power off the device.
•  a USB-C cable to a PC or another device.
• Hold  Up + Side Button until Recovery Menu appears.
• Select Wipe cache partition/ Confirm Reboot system.

Ich habe das in einem Samsung Forum gefunden.
Werde ich morgen probieren, vielleicht hilft es ja.

I also had an "System UI" error today while using Locus. Android gui restartet afterwards.

Let me know if I can provide more infos etc.

PS: The "0/4 Files in Folder" label has an x (2. screenshot). I just clicked it and now the label is gone ( 3. and 4. screenshot).
