I've found python script for converting garmin maps to osm, but i've run out of memory (2gb ram +4gb swap) with area 30x20km.

What format uses locus for overlay maps? I tried export sample map with global mapper to jpg and png but locus crash just after import.

support for custom projections is already implemented (for around 14 days). I use it now only on WMS services, but next will come. Probably configuration files from converted Ozi maps? If you want, you may help me with this ... at least with some sample files

It should first support custom datums and projections to fully use these maps.

I've got map covering area 20km around my town. Map is divided to 210 parts 3000x3000px png in trekbuddy tared format. I'd like to put parts into single folder to use them as single map but now locus use only first segment in directory (I tried converting map so sqlite but i recieved empty file).
What i would like to have:
1. I put segments to directory in /maps
2. Starting locus
3. Locus create index for files in directory (name,covering lat/long,filesize), maybe in sqlite so it can be updated when adding more maps to directory.
4. When selected in private maps, locus load map covering current position
It would be nice if locus can load tiles from 4 different tared maps when looking at edge of fragment.

Now i'm using androzic for dealing with scanned maps, but i'd like to have them in single app.

I've also have wish. Vector maps in osm editor shows more data than in locus (power lines, county borders). Is it possible to display all data or user-selected elements only (eg. no poi)?

Tried test version and tts works this time. Voice says distance to turn, but it's different than distance displayed.

I updated svox main app and voice data to latest version but can't get in work Does it work with any other language than english?

When click tts it confirm selection but no change in menu is visible. tts not work, there's only beeps on recalculate. No voice. Tried it this morning when i drive from work, without success.

I've got installed svox tts and polish language. When try to use tts with last locus pro i've got this screen (look screenshot).
Tss works well with cool reader and google navigation.

Is it possible to use android tts for navigation instead of prerecorded voice?

I tried scanned maps with locus, but most of then use custom datum and defined tm projection. When used with locus as tared map i've got wrong position. When used custom wpts map work terribly - when scrolled wpts moves on their own, changing position on map. So until locus could use oziexplorer datums and projections i'm using androzic (tb is nice, but need prepared maps).

I spotted few annoying things:
1. gps turn off when entering settings (so it need to catch new fix after exiting menu)
2. gps turned off by default when starting app.
3. sometimes backlighs is off when set to "always when gps on", doesn't matter if i got fix or searching for sats.

I'm sometimes use my old tracklogger instead of smartphone for recording track, and i would like to import recorded tracks to locus db. Also tracks received via email could be directly imported (locus as default app for gpx/kml).
I tried add some maps from tb (datum: pulkowo 1942, projection: transverse mercator, 1:50k), but first - i've got large error in my position, and second - in tb maps are grouped by layer, so in one layer i have some maps of different parts of region. When copied to locus, i've no directories. When i need my military topo maps, i would like to select only directory (not single file), and locus would load map of region where i am, or where wpt is (from that dir).
