I have received a mail with the attached gpx file on Gmail.
But the download box was not appeared because Google did not support the gpx file.
So I have installed 'Astro' file manager, and  set 'Preference/Enable Browser Download'.
As a result, I could see the download box of the attached gpx file.
When I touched the download box, Oruxmaps was excuted.

I want to excute Locus when I touch the download box of gpx file.
How can I do to do this?

I want you to support a  gpx test file for me to test "imroved guiding along path top panel"
On my test, I don't understand your intension.   I need your gpx test file.
I have tested on a gpx file with many trackpoints and a few waypoints.  But I did not see the top panel with 'Distance to next waypoint, ...  '
And I've tested on a gpx file with only a few waypoints. As a result, I could see the top panel with 'Distance to next waypoint, ...'

Do you mean "imroved guiding along path top panel" is only applied on the track (a gpx file with only waypoints) ?

hmm, how old is track you're trying. Maybe if is too old, try to import it again. Distance to next waypoint will show values to next waypoint. Waypoint on track is red small circle that you can see when you have disabled guiding

this value is value from nearest point on track (so your projection on track) to nearest waypoint, same with time

Unfortunately, I still do not understand what you said.
When I imported a track with waypoints, that was imported into Locus - Points section and Tracks section.   I could see waypoints in Points section, a track in Tracks section.
 I select the track in Track section and select 'Map' and then I could see the track in map view.  
You said 'Waypoint on track is red small circle that you can see when you have disabled guiding'.
But I can only see my waypoints with  ' i ' icon.  Those are not red small circle.  
What's wrong with me?
Please explain it more specific.

I have tested above function.
But I couldn't understand when the value of 'Distance to next point' was displayed.  
I selected a track with waypoints and trackspoints. And I selected  'Guided on'.   But the value is 'Unknown'.  
I have tested a track with only waypoints, too.
...
I had various tests.
For sure I saw the value of 'Distanc to next point' when I select a exported track (with only a route, not waypoints)
But I didn't understand which track could display the value of 'Distance to next point'
Morever,  I could not understand the value is from  where  to  where.
Can you be more specific ?

And, I want the field 'waypoint of next' is inclued in top panel field.
Actually, I couldn't know which waypoint is  'Distance of next point' .  I wanted to know the name of the waypoint.
So if I select 'Waypoint of next', and 'Distance of next', I can see the next waypoint name and distance to there at once.

On track navigation, I want to know the distance to a waypoint or the destination from the current position on the track.
Is it possible in Locus ?
I mean the distance is not a straight line but a real track distance.

As I know, Locus shows the straight line distance to a nearest track point from the current position.
A straight line distance is helpful.
But if we can monitoring the real track distance to a waypoint or the destination, it is more desirable for us.
Although I am on the track line, the straight line distance is less helpful than the real track distance because the track is not straight and I can't follow with the straight line.

I expect a good news about this !

hmm "insert coordinate" button ...

 But when you delete them (so you will have empty text field) but you then think that sending them will be a good idea, you may add the center coordinates back by this button. Uff ... hope you understand me . It just simply insert same value as you see when you run this function ...

I understand your intention but still think something is not natual.  Somebody can doubt why coordinate is inserted twice.
But I also don't know how the UI of Share map center is improved.
Perhaps  the menu box of Share map center can have 3 sub menu -- coordinate I coordinate as URL I +  .
'+' means free message box that user can edit and insert 'coordinate I coordinate as Url I altitue ... '  like it is now, but coordinate is not inserted as default before pressing the burton.
But I doubt whether this is more desirable than now.

I got it.

And two same coordinate is displayed as text when I select  'Share map center / Insert coordinate '

My friend sent me his location(coordinates) by SMS.
He told me he used  a function of Locus, 'Share map center'.

In that case,  
Can I easily make a waypoint by only cut & paste his location(coordinates)
 and navigate there on Locus ?

The coordinate format in 'Share map center' is 'N dd mm.mmm I S dd mm.mmm'
Can I make a waypoint by that format ('N dd mm.mmm I S dd mm.mmm') in 1 line format.
If it is possible,
I can send my location by sms on Locus and navigate the location received by sms through only copy and paste.

I think this is very useful function in outdoor activity, eg. emergency rescue, ...

I've tried to download it again.
The download process is dead after about 1 hour.

Have you set up the time limit of the download server ?
I think it will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes to download Japan vector map completly.

I failed to download 'Japan' vertor map.
Check it up, please !
