Would be nice to not forget the no go area file in the backup.
I know it's in a completely different folder. But inside the backup it can be moved to somewhere else.

Track.db without no go area file might result in a different track after recalculation.

Hi Menion.

I noticed a folder under files/data/import.

It looks like that many/every data which were imported are stored here.

Since a while I automatically generate points with audio and video content during navigaton. Later I import all.
This fills up that folder and I doubt they will never be deleted. I have data from 6 month ago in it, where the coressponding point is already deleted.

Was deletion just forgotten? Can I delete all by myself without checking which points might still exists?

I'm using NoGo areas to force router to use the right way. Small problem is that there is a 100m and 500m option. That's a pretty huge step. Could we have a 300m additional?

Just a small suggestion. Pretty often I moved an existing point in route planner without an intention. Thats my fault. But the warning that the route can't be calculated hides the undo button. This makes the handling which such faults a bit time lengthly.
Can you move the warning to some other position?

Good point but shouldn't be the reason. Map rotation mode isn't included in presets. I'll include it just for testing.

Btw does route recalculation influences back on track detection?
I have recalculation disabled. After starting navigation without being exactly on the route, Locus often doesn't detect that I'm reaching (then follow) route. In this case just a stop/start of navigaton helps.
I never had this when recalculation was enabled.

I'm sure there was a setting to change it but I can't find.
When navigating to map orientation is auto rotate. Works fine until I stand still. When halt the map rotates to something else. Mostly to more or less oposite direction. I think there was a setting to disable this rotation on hold.

if you PM your email address used to sync your data, we may completely clear the content already existing on the server so your first sync only send data to the cloud.

Btw:
"sync" - merge local and server data
"download" - throw away local data and download data from server

There is no way today to deal with such a problem. This is what I wanted to report.

A mp4 file is not marked as sound file in point detail.

@CabrioTourer - have you tried manual sync rather than automatic?

Some weeks ago. Can't test it today. Option for manual is greyed out.

As far as I remember it shows just some numbers.
For me the feature is useless. What does it help when it shows it will sync x points or y tracks?
I don't know which points, what track I need to backup before the sync.
I have maybe 2000+ points and 200+ tracks??
Even if I would know which one. How can I save these elements without loosing information?
Elements are not stored in single files. The only Locus way I know is export/import but this doesn't support all element features (at least for the formats I checked).

Btw. I don't use cloud sync even with gold abo.

My Problem is that on my main device a dialog pops up and I can choose sync or download.
I don't know what is the difference in cloud but I know the data on the device are the good one.
So both options are a nogo.

There should be even a upload selection.
As far as I know there is also no way to delete the could data.

So I stuck here. Can't use sync,can't use download and there is no way to start from fresh.

That's the way I show the fun factor on the map. One of the reasons why I like Locus that much. Endless possibilities to do my own stuff. Thanks for this.

Minor issue:
I love the long click on map selection button to switch to recent map. Sometimes a message pops up:
"Selected map is out of current view..."
Would be nice if this can be supressed when using long click.

Minor issue.
Number of waypoints in tour details is on left side in case there are via points. Without via points they are on the right side.

Sharing points as KML doesn't work since a few versions. The menu entry simply does nothing.

Works for me.At least with these steps:
- Select a point
- Click on share at bottom of screen
- Select file explorer (X-plor in my case)
- Select target folder
-> Kmz created
