@Menion

I don't see a problem in doing so if this would be seen just in Tour Planner.

Today when a route is shown on the map the points are doubled in map view (!).
Nobody knows why there are doubled points in map view until he/she ask the developer ;)
At least it took me a while to find out where these points come from. I know from another guy here who didn't understand it. My wife complained about it just today bcs he didn't know it, too.

It's not only useless on the map. It looks like a bug. Or is there something I can do with these points ?

Or let me start from another side.

Let's assume I'm a well known Locus user and know where these point comes from.
I have such a point and edit it in map view (!) and move it to another location.
Please do so and reenter tour planner for the route.

The result is a route where the via point is still at the correct (old) location even the moved double point is shown at the new location. Without any visible connection to the route.
Remeber the via point was the reason to create the double point.

Now, still in tour planner, save the route again.
The result is now you have three(!) points in map view. The original, the moved doubled and a second (newly) created doubled.

This results in another reason why these points should not be visible in map view. They can be moved, edited or deleted but then they converts to something I call "ghost" points. Somehow conected to the route but not the real doubled point.

If you need the double points please  just hide them in map view. Then all probkems are solved.

@Menion Sorry for getting back on this:

1.I can delete the point on the map and reopen the tour in tourplanner afterwards. The via point is still there.
2. The calculation when moving a point left or right from the via point works, too.

So it looks useless.

Anyway if there is still a reason why it's needed, it shouldnt be shown on map.
It has not the same options as a normal point. Any change here will (following your reason) influence the route.
This has a high potential that users do something wrong without notice.
For a user it even looks like an error in Locus.

I noticed a collection of same points on map quite often. Sometimes I had not just two but up to 5 or 6.
Not sure how they were created but I think it was because of changes in the route after first creation. At least the routes with the most changes has the most number of same points on map.

Any progress here ?

Correction. It's happens same way if point 2 is exactly on the street.
But then it'hard to see it on the map ;)

Since a while I have points doubled on map. One point is the original one. Others named like a route. I think I found how to reproduce the issue.

The base reason as far as I saw is, that the original point will be added as via point but it's not exactly on the street.

Steps to reproduce:
0. have a point not exactly on a street.
1. Goto route planner and add point 1
2+3. Add the point from step 0 as via point
4. Add point 3
5. Save route
6. Back in map the point fom step 0 is doubled

Other features / Re: Online search

First of all the most important point:

New search is a great step forward. It's much, much better than it was in the past.
Looks like Locus search is usable for me. First time since I joined Locus years ago.
Many Thanks.

Is it just me?

In preset edit dialog there are two settings with description "display or hide xyz".
What means setting enabled in this case? Is enabled stands for display or for hide ?
For me it's not clear. I just guess enabled means display.

Is it not enough to use just "Display xyz"?
Like "Display Navigation statistics"

It's not only in english language. Also in others.

It would be nice to add the output path in
manual backup dialog.  I don't ask for possibility to change it. Just for information in case someone forgott the setting.
Like me
;D

I don't want to annoy you. But when I look at the zip content of backup file it looks pretty easy to add the nogo file there.  ::)

Works. Thanks

@Menion
Small question. Where is the legend file for openandromaps Elevate is located? Is it a pdf?

I would like to replace it with an own one.
I want to create one which includes only the parts I'm interested in.

Another topic.
Because it's not possible to change email address in Locus I want to start Premium from scratch.
This time the funny thing without Google.

First issue is. The payment without Google is very hidden inside the FAQ. Every direct way uses Google. Looks like self payment without Google is "not wanted".

Therefor I tried the hard way. Added a new account. Open FAQ, Goto voucher Website. Selected to buy a gold premium voucher for myself. Selected paypal. It opened paypal website not in my standard browser. I guess via Android Webview?

Not ideal bcs I have some security concerns. (Second point on my issue list)

Just decided that Locus should be a good guy. Entered email and passwort and Site asked for second factor.

Now the third issue. Changed to Authenticator App to get the code. Now there is no way to go back to entering the code in Webview. Recent App list shows Locus but not the Webview paypal page.
I found no way to go back. At least when I stick to one device usage.

How this should work? Is it something special on my smartphone (Android 13, AOSP)
or a not tested scenario?

Navigation commands > should be hidden. If they aren't it usually means, that for some reason, the connection between the track and these waypoints breaks and they are no longer considered as navigation points, but ordinary waypoints. ... ah, seems you find this. The question is why and how this happened.
It's the same reason why sometimes the shaping points lost. You remember. The loonnng time issue we never found and were not able to reproduce it.
This time I'm a bit sure it depend on not enough memory. I edited a tour in tour planner on medirore tablet. Exit Tour planner without saving. Did something else which resulted in a Locus crash. (I guess bcs not enough memory. Same thing works on my flagship smartphone without problem but crashes often on tablet)
Somewhere in this scenario the shaping points are lost and navigation commands lost there tour connection.
