Grundsätzlich muss man sagen damit man keine Updates oder Neuinstallationen kurz vor dem Urlaub oder im Urlaub macht. Ganz besonders wenn man die App für den Urlaub braucht. Das gilt auch für Android Updates.

Welche Version hattest du vorher drauf ? hattest du schon my library ? Also die neue Ordner Struktur ? Welche Version hast du installiert und wo hast du sie her ?
Hast du einen PC dabei damit du eventuelle Daten vom handy sichern kannst. Android erlaubt es teilweise nicht auf alle ordner zuzugreifen. mit USB und Windows geht das aber. Manchmal auch mit speziellen Datei Apps wie x-plore.
Ich würde zuerst alles sichern was zu sichern ist. Da jede weitere Aktion Daten eventuell löscht oder überschreibt.

In a distant future my preference would be to have the theme display no poi and LM display hand picked categories of lopoi.

moving POI handling from each & every theme back into the core app would simplify each theme

If visible on the map, a complete list makes sense. But here it is only about highlighted ones. If you want to highlight something, then you already know what you want to highlight. Therefore, it makes no sense here and you are faster with the search. Most of the time they are always the same and are therefore in the list.

I don't think that's such a good solution. It would make the list very long and confusing and you would have to keep scrolling or initiate an additional search if you wanted to change the selection.
