[by length and not by distance?]

"Is it possible to sort search results of tracks by length and not by distance?"

I think it would be great if we could sort search results, by everything that makes sense. (Length of track, Name, Creation time, Distance from map center etc etc)

I was a bit unclear. Results of course were sorted, but user cannot apply another kind of sorting.

I've read criticism about Locus not supporting rotating text on the map for better readability. Probably a bigger thing, something that has implications on performance. @Menion, are you planning to work on this? I'd love if it would rotate text 180 (unnoticeable) - if necessary. Screenshot.

Thanks for your dedication. As for bulk unzipping directly on Android, bulk unzipping to same folder worked for me with ZArchiver.
And for bulk downloading with GDrive app one has to go to the real files ("Speicherort anzeigen" - initially there's a list of shortcuts only as for Germany 1").
So, it was a bit tricky.

I'm not sure if Locus is able to read or unzip .zip-Files.
But I can tell you a useful tip to bulk unzip files on a PC: I'm using software "WinRAR", mark all files I want to unzip, right mouse click and select "Extract Here" from the menu. Now all files are unzipped into the same directory

May I know which version of Locus you are currently using? LM3 or 4 ?

Currently LM4. I switched from LM3 as of supporting the delelopers and better synching between devices. You can do this with third party apps, but the internal synch is way easier.

A limited list of apps > Locus Map does not have permission to access all available apps on the device, only the pre-selected ones. So I need to manually define supported apps. This is different compared to Tasker.

I understand. I don't know how many have not found an app among the links, for me it's the first time with Plantnet. If you want you could open a thread in the forum or wherever you prefer, so that everyone reports the missing app data in the way you need and then you can implement it in the next version.

Permissions for Locus are active except physical activity.
Out of my curiosity, what is "physical activity" in locus for?

backups & its content ... seems I'll have to look at it and rewrite a backup setup completely. I believe that the best solution should be an option to setup the content of automatic and manual backups.

Guys I had some ideas about backups, you may want to look. To summarize:

1.: Provide 3 backup sets: Everything, Settings only, User defined

2.: Allow to use any of those in Auto backup

Auto backup is currently unattractive for me because of tracks.db - I don't ever need it to be included into auto backup at all.

Not using sync, as long as it doesn't allow to exclude specific folders (I have little hope here.)

I agree with Freischneider, splitting zip does not feel good for me. Keep it simple.

Holy sh.. - my backup exploded to 2.4 GB. I definitely support turning the Brouter rd5 backup into an option (default: NO)

UI - I think SET/Recalculate position should be swapped. Typically, bottom right has OK (what you could say "Set" is, and it was there before). In my quick workflow I almost end up recalculating all when I just wanted to change routing profile.
