GPS crashed yesterday again several times. It was only one time possible to "create" the log (the one I have send to you).
I do not know what I am doing wrong (I took the instructions from here: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:faq:how_to_create_debug_log) - before I open Locus, I "Enable USB debugging" (developer options) + select "Take Bug report".
Just one time it showed me the report in the notification bar.

Sorry to hear about such troubles. Maybe it all comes from the first mentioned problem.
To solve this, usually best is to create a log right after crash happen, by this method. Thanks

It crashes again and again.....



I tried to create an bugreport - I hope it helps (I have send you the report by PM).
It seems that a lot of people do have this problem at the moment...

Well, I hope I can get this log when Locus crashes again... (maybe others have the same problem at the moment).

I use Locus Pro since years - and I love it, as well as the constant software-development and support; but now, since the last update I do have again and again the following problems when GPS is activated:
either
1. Locus crashes totaly
2. or GPS position stops
3. or when recording a track - recording stops

It leaves me really desperate, especially now in summertime when I use Locus every day on my tours!
What to do?
Is there any bug?

thanks a lot for the new version - especially for the "track analyzer"-possibility.
But:
It would be so helpful, if you could include the possibility to show at the elevation profile the percentage of incline.
Best would be aswell, to show at each point you "click" for at the elevation profile simultaneously this point at the map shown above (in the analyzing display).

I have to go back to the new height profile showing in the "route-planner screen":

for several months now OSMAND offers the possibility to show simultaneously on two "screens" the route on the map and below the profile of the height INCLUDING the slope in percentage (at the point in the map or height profile you clicking).

I know the slope/percentage can't be absolutely correct, but anyway - this approximate value combined with the profile of the height and the map in the little screen above helps a lot. It is a great and very good feature Osmand offers now.
Why can't this be possible in Locus either?

In LOCUS it is now a bit too complicated:

-> in the "new" routeplanner it shows me only the height profil


-> opening the settings with the statistics of the track it shows me just the diagram with height profile and percentage of slope at the point I have choosen - but no map simultaneously on a second screen.

This feature would be such a great help especially for all the cyclists - and it would make Locus much more complete than it is already.
Please - I would be so thankful if you/ someone can work on this!

its a bit hard to explain for myself - but I it would be helpful to see in the height/ altitude profile aswell at by myself selected points the approximate slope percentage.

Menion, I am really thankful for all your help - but I still wonder why it is not possible to show the percentage of the slope (incl. the elevation display) on the second sreen aswell. With Osmand it is working, they do have this possibility  - it is it to hard to include this feature aswell in locus?
It would be a very helpful feature, especially for the cyclists.

Great - especially now the elevation screen together with the map!

BUT:
can you please include a posssibility to show the slope in percentage (in the elevation screen) - that would be absolutely perfect then (eg like Osmand does since a couple of months).

Bei den LoMaps gibt es meiner Erfahrung nach mehr POIs (ist mir zB bei Geldautomatensuche aufgefallen). Zudem: bei LoMaps ist eine Offline-Ortssuche möglich - das geht bei den OAMs nur über einen Umweg.

In der Kategorie "wishlist" kann man tatsächlich nichts mehr posten; habe nun im Help desk ("ideas") versucht, das Ganze zu erklären/ beschreiben...

Gehe ich auf die Haupseite des Locus-Forums und möch hier im Unterbereich "Wishlist" ein neues Thema beginnen, fehlt bei mir der Button "New topic", nur "notify" & "mark read" wird angezeigt...

Die geteilte Bildschirmansicht bei Osmand mit der Strecke und darunter dem Höhenprofil (mit Steigungsangaben in %) und die Möglichkeit auf einen Blick sofort auf der Strecke verfolgen zu können, wo sich die Steigungen befinden finde ich gerade als Radfahrer richtig gut.

Unter Locus kann man zwar auch das Höhenprofil mit Steigungen (%) anzeigen lassen, allerdings wird daneben nicht die Strecke auf einen Blick angezeigt. Das müsste doch auch mit Locus zu ermöglichen sein?!

Liebes Forum,
in der aktuellen Osmand-Version wird meiner Meinung nach eine schöne Anzeige des Höhenverlaufs inklusive Steigungsangaben in Prozent angeboten - finde ich wirklich sehr schön gelöst, da man einfach die Strecke mit Höhe/Steigungsangabe in einer zweiten Anzeige gleichzeitig verfolgen kann (s.screenshot).



Gerade für Radfahrer, auch bei der Vorplanung, sehr hilfreich!
Ist so etwas nicht auch unter Locus möglich (derzeit ja "nur" normales Höhenprofil eines tracks anzeigbar)?
Evtl. in absehbarer Zeit zu erwarten?

Ich habe nun auch eine Straße in unserer Stadt im Süden Deutschlands über die Locus offline-Suche gesucht: auch hier keine Chance, der Weg wird nicht gelistet (und es handelt sich nicht um einen gesonderten Stadtbereich). Was allerdings über die App MapsFactor Navigator keiberlei Problem darstellte: hier wird diese Straße ohne Probleme gelistet.

Finde ich sehr schade und enttäuschend, dass die bezahlten Locus-Datenbanken so unvollständig sind!
