Hmm really interesting. Try to rename your "SRTM" data directory on the SD card, so Locus won't be able to find it. This should help I believe.
@menion:
after renaming srtm, locus opens, but then no offline maps are displayed next to the srtm information!
does this mean that the maps, srtm etc. files can/must only be stored in the internal memory?!

(that would be the end of the locus app - so much memory can only be stored externally).

Hello menion,
unfortunately, neither of the two options is successful
LMP and LM4 are accessing the same vector maps in this folder, is this a problem?

@bezel
for me both work on A11with Samsung Xcover 4s
what´s your device?
I use the Unihertz Atom L outdoor smartphone

@Menion :
locusmap 4, but also locusmap pro still does not work under andoid11!!!

what is going on?
I am really desperate as I need locus urgently. is there a solution in itself?
What to do?!

(when initialising/booting locus, the message appears:
T:unable to opnen /storage/.... file as input
in my case the locus app is stored internally - maps, srtm etc data on external sd card )

Thanks for your help!!

@menion:
is it possible to arrange the function bar at the top as usual (as with locuspro)?

I don't like the subscription model at all - when will the one time payments model you mentioned be available and at what price (there are talks about 100 euro!)?

Lautet der ganze Pfad für die brf-Dateien:
Locus/data/brouter/profiles2 ?

"T:cannot connect to service"

Concerning the problem with this location point on the height profil:
you also need the part of the track that's behind you!

So please change again to the old version. Over the last years we had absolutely no problems with that!

Would be a great help if you change that again to the 'old' version!
Thank you very much!

Hi Menion!
Are there any changes again, concerning the problem with 'height profile and location point'?
See discussion here:
https://help.locusmap.eu/topic/elevation-profile-and-navigation-cursor

Because the feature with the height profile is (was...) so good and is very helpful on tour it would be very helpful if the height location point could be located again more in the middle (or offering some setting options).
Thanks a lot for your support and help!

Hi Menion!
Thanks for your work concerning version 3.46.2 - but I am really very disapointed concerning one modified feature:
" improved visible track part on dashboard chart during navigation"

It is really bad now, that the location point in the height diagram is now not just a bit more to the left, but now this point is very, very far on the left hand side!
Up to this change it was very helpful on longer tours to see aswell some of the altitude profile, which you have already done. Now you can see just the part of the forward track.

This point has been moved now realy a bit too far to the left hand side - we want to see aswellsome of the height profile already done.
Maybe you can change this or offer a option for that in the settings.

Thank you very much, I am really concerned about this feature which was so well realised in the past...
Best wishes!

@John

[En]can confirm, your suggested setup works. see attached pics

UnterLocus Profile zB Fahrrad kurz / Fahrrad schnell / MTB (!) / Gehen
