After now 2 month of discussion and developement I want to give a (positive) feedback. ;)

I tried the new version now with two longer biking routes .... and navigation along a route works (almost) perfect. 8)

I planed the route within route planer /brouter ... included some caches ... choosed my biking profile ... and the fun could start.

I was a little scared ::) when I saw the first deviation ... but all worked well. :)

Some missed turns by me leads to some further deviations ... but more or less I found back to my route without stoping on every second parking place. ;D

Thx for your work and patience .... today for me it was great fun just to ride and get guided by Locus. 8)

Within those deviations I saw that it really wouldn't help if you recalculate to much (because I set my distance for recalculation to 40m) but ... I had a new idea: ::)

The problem when you leave your planed route is that Locus leads you directly back from your current positon.
While walking this is no problem ... but with car or bike it's almost impossible.
Maybe it's better (when motorized movement) to navigate straight in the actual direction and look for a "allowed" turn.
Then it would be not such a stress to have no possible guidance (because turning on street is most time not possible) ...
The second advantage would be that if you decide to ignore this short turn ... the next possible turn is generated or maybe even a better route back is found. (That's very near to my car navigation).

The app crashes when I try to load trackables in log manager.
It's not only within logmanager but also in normal log dialog when loading trackables ....

Since some weeks geocaching live doesn't work in route planer.  :(

So I have no chance to see all the possible caches while planning a route.

On my tablet I have tiramisu as a possible theme in 3.38.
Now I want to activate it on my mobile ... but it doesn't work.
Copied it 1to1 from tablet, downloaded it fresh ... but I can't choose it within Locus.

The only unusual I can see: on my tablet tiramisu theme is grey but I can choose it.
The check find no error.

Finaly got it working ...😚

Thanks for your reply.
Maybe next week I'm there  ;) ... and if there is a waymark I'll try to add it in OSM.

But after some first steps today ::) ... it's really not so easy.

Troubles & Questions / Missing hiking trails
June 05, 2019, 19:41:16
Now with V4 maps my hope was that all existing hiking trails appears on the map.

But I can't find any combination of theme and map to see all hiking trails.

Attached some combinations with LoMap, V4Map .... Intern, Elevate, Tiramisu and Voluntary theme.
And this can be compared with the calibrated map (cool function I discovered recently 😎) of this area where hiking trail 75 and 8B exists.
Only Tiramisu with V4 shows at least trail 75 as a hiking trail.

Anyone any idea?  ::)

Because of restriction with size and number of uploads I divided in several posts. Found no other way and hope it's ok.

Ohh, you're right. ::)
I thought that there is a special authorisation for Locus if you use it without G4L.
But I couldn't see it too ...
#207
Just an idea ... maybe Locus native access is expired. :-\

switch gps off an you´ll get what you want
Thx, good workaround. 😉

... but in the version before there was no need to do this, ???

When I use 'nearest caches' in newest version of geocachin4locus the coordinates are not set to the cursor position.
In the old version I could point in the map to the location I want geocaches to download ... and coordinates where sent from Locus to geo4loc to that point.
This was an easy and quick way to fill a far map area without a pocket query.
Is this a problem of Locus or geo4loc (or maybe a user problem 😚)

In your geocaching profile -》settings-》authorisized/trusted  apps ( don't see the english word) ...
You can see if access is granted to geocaching4locus ... maybe you can see there something helping infos.
