[Was muss wann wo installiert werden?]

Hallo,
dank PrimeDay habe ich jetzt auch so ein Teil bestellt.
Ich finde zwar einige Foreneinträge zu Fragen/Problemen ... daher:

Gibt es irgendwo eine Anleitung, wie man aktuell in LocusMaps 4 diese Smartwatch mit einem Galaxy Smartphone in Betrieb bekommt?
Was muss wann wo installiert werden?

Hallo, ich suche eine Möglichkeit einige Icons aus den offline LoPoints zu ersetzen.
Da ich zum Wandern gerne kleine Parkplätze suche, wäre es schön, wenn das ParkIcon etwas größer und auch deutlicher erkennbar wäre.
Hat jemand eine Idee wie ich dieses Icon entweder vergrößern oder durch ein eigenes ersetzen kann.

I installed LM4 beside LM classic ... but my abo isn't found by LM4.

What could be done?

Is it possible (and how) to upload a new path via Locus?
I found the way to upload a note/point but no way to do this with a track.

Just a question ...:
how and where can I change the GPS cursor?

I use LM for biking and hiking. I always record my track and navigate along a route.
While hiking battery is enough for 6 to 8 hours.
But with bike LM drains battery within 2 hours. And there is no difference between LM4 or LM3.

Meanwhile I have a battery pack to solve this problem ... but I would really like to know the reason.
In profile I increased distance and time with bike to avoid much writing to sd ... but no measurable effect.

Anyone any idea?

Now with V4 maps my hope was that all existing hiking trails appears on the map.

But I can't find any combination of theme and map to see all hiking trails.

Attached some combinations with LoMap, V4Map .... Intern, Elevate, Tiramisu and Voluntary theme.
And this can be compared with the calibrated map (cool function I discovered recently 😎) of this area where hiking trail 75 and 8B exists.
Only Tiramisu with V4 shows at least trail 75 as a hiking trail.

Anyone any idea?

my aim is to create a route (with many deviations) for biking which starts and ends at one point.
I want to navigate along the complete route and when I miss the route Locus should lead me back to the next point of the route.

I now tried ( in the test mode with GPS off  ) several settings ... but no one leads to the desired result.
Version: latest beta 3.37.2.9
Settings:
- Route re-calculation:
   + route priority (with distance 80 m)
- advanced
   + Strict route following on
       - what ever difference this should effect, because I always want to go back to my route when navigation a route
   + max. allowed deviation
      - I set this to 10000 because I don't know what this switching from navigation to guidance should effect

First I created a route with many "minor" streets with shaping points (Screen 1: red=desired;purple="normal" route)

When I start to navigate and leave the route for some meters Locus calculates the complete route new (Screen 2)

Hi,
it seems as if the altitude value in dasboard and audio coach are wrong.
In GPS status and map value  the right values are shown.

What about this "old" idea from Helpdesk?

Hi,
I really like that option ... but I have some problems with it:
- I like to zoom with the hardware buttons. But it seems at if this is not recognized as an activity - so position skips back while zooming.
- Several times I had the problem that the cursor suddenly skips back to the gps position while creating a new route. Yesterday when I tried to repeat the issue (to describe it) it works ... today in the field it skipped back while creating a new route. 

- and just a question: Is there anywhere a chance to change the value of the skip-back time (seems to be fixed to 5 sec)

after trying different ways to navigate with via points I found a working way ... 

When I start navigation ... then enter my different via points and my final point  Locus navigates strictly to the first via point even if there is a recalculation of the route ... 

Now where all works ... I tried to skip a waypoint.
I found the menu where I can choose this option ... but nothing happens.   
The only way to skip is to start a new navigation without this point ... 

Any ideas ?

I saw this every time during my holidays in alps (with much more elevation ... and difference  )

But yesterday I found the time to check the different values:
- when I planned the route I've got the values 152m down and 153 up
- at the end of the tour just before saving I had 180m down and 210 upd
- after saving the values where 138 down and 147 up


In settings I have altitude correctur disabled (because I want to use the build in barometer which hard worked fine with orux).
While writing I just saw another setting "GPS altitude optimize" which is set to "on".

My question or lack of understanding:
- when is what method of altitude measure used ?
- can I set settings to only one method in all cases ? (maybe the most accurate  )

I tried Locus because I was looking for an offline navigaton tool for bike tours ...

Then I saw what else is possible with Locus Maps ... and one week before my holidays I switched from OruxMaps to LocusMaps ... 


I planned my routes with Locus/brouter (even for that I switched from PC to Locus) ... recorded my tracks ... changed the tour sometimes on the fly ... used POI-Alarm for geocaches on the way  ... used navigation ( and one time LM detected, that I took the wrong way  ) ... used my own  dashboard ... etc.

And it was ten days of great fun, no crash  ... and a lot of (for me) new features.

entweder habe ich noch nicht die richtigen Einstellungen, etwas generell falsch gemacht ... oder es geht einfach nicht? 

Ich möchte Locus als Offline-Navigation für meine Mopedtour nutzen ...
Also brouter installiert, mit Locus verbunden, Route (mit Locus und auch am PC) erstellt ... Navigieren ... soweit klappt alles.

Nur unterwegs werden nicht nur Abbiegungen, sondern auch (fast) jede größere Kurve angesagt. 
Da ich hauptsächlich auf akustische Hinweise angewiesen bin (Display bei Sonnenschein (=Mopedwetter  ) nicht immer erkennbar), führt dies dazu dass ich auch ohne die aktuelle Strasse tatsächlich zu verlassen laufend Richtungshinweise bekomme. Manchmal nur "nach links/rechts" ... manchmal aber auch tatsächlich "nach links/rechts abbiegen".

Meine Frage:
- kann man mit Locus tatsächlich eine echte Strassen-Navigation durchführen?
- fehlt mir noch eine Komponente/AddOn?

I'm new to Locus but even after a short time I managed to create routes, follow route, navigation, geocaching ... connect brouter and dem-files ... 
The only thing I didn't find (or it isn't there  ) is:
- I want to have some acoustically informations automaticly announced during a track. E.g. after every (customizable) distance or time I want to hear some informations about the distance, elapsed time, time left (maybe customizable  ) ...

Is this possible ... ?
