Found the way to share the custom dashboard but unable to hide the red arrows of trackpoints on the chart.
Someone suggested the function to edit the details of trackpoints:

I agree but we also need something to hide normal trackpoint and show special points on chart.
My idea is to show the road book as we can have at a bike or running race creating it from the gpx of the race.
If the gpx contains the special points The chart can show them otherwise we can add them editing the points on track as special.

There is something in Locus that should help and I'm interested too, so I tried to set up a Custom Dashboard but i think to have found a little bug.
The chart displays the icon of every trackpoints and this is confusing. It should show just special trackpoints or the waypoints marked on the track as significant ( refreshment point of a race, time gate, intermediate goals ...) the best with the right icon.
I tried with a gpx and with brouter route planner inside locus with same results.

I suggested you a way to use Locus without waiting for the bug fix. From your posts seems you was not able to use the app after the restore of the settings from the old phone to the new one with a new version of Android.
Yes you are right, I am really  more funny than thouse people worried by hundreds of settings they do not more remember how to apply.

Thanks I already read this before but it doesn't help me.

I'm pretty sure that's a bug importing old settings to a new version ir with the default folder.

Initially I could not even remove the old maps!

Reset preferences
Then set it up manually to a directory you can reach or use the default and copy there your files. If you have a new phone presumably you have more space.

I had the idea as well but I couldn't find where to remove the maps folder setting.

It automatically shows maps in my old folder but I can't change the folder.

What exactly do I need to do?

Can anyone try Betu on Android 4.2? He can not run on my phone.

From the release notes: no more support for 4.0.3 and 4.0.4
No more support for Geocaching since 4.4.0
I 4.2 is in the middle I can not help you I have only devices from 6 to 8 now.

LT activated associated to public room but no chat icon present on map.

I think every feature has it's place in the settings LT not, just the icon in more function panel.

The number of feature is every day bigger and so the settings. But it's every day harder to find the set up you need. It's time to think a new way to find what we are looking for. What about introducing a new feature to rule them all? A search field to find the key word of the settings.
For example searching for "track" can find 
Points and tracks
Tracks
Track recording
Live tracking
...
One touch and we are there.

Something like our little Google inside Locus.

With the LT started the bottom right red stop button stops LT but remains a red stop button and do not change into the green start icon.

aaaa Italian translation is incorrect: https://crowdin.com/translate/menion/3292/en-it#6647013. There should be %s and not %d. What a stupid bug. Temporary solution: change language of Locus to other then Italian.

you have perfect logical questions, unfortunately, all are little complicated to solve, sorry.

state of cache log should be a little problem. Probably best is to check Menu > More > GC Tools > Logs manager. Here on left side of every item will be a green strip in case, log was already uploaded to gc.com or exported to fileAnotherldNote). Another option is currently not possible as I think about it.

Upload image for uploaded field note: sorry, Groundspeak does not support it. If you have a log with images, use rather a direct log or export to offline text file. In the second case, images will be exported as well.

State of note is another not yet perfectly solved the problem due to missing functions in Geocaching API, sorry.

Screen on/off at Navigation.
Info: Screen on_off at Navigation I did not see a change ! Functional as usual.
Always screen on (= screen on/off control by Locus) and Android screen time out set: 30 min.
Screen Off/On by Power button: Screen off after 15 sec ( Locus setting)
Screen Off/on by Gesture proximity: Screen on continuous, until (by new wave) screen off: (Locus setting by config.cfg)
# Disable "Turn off if idle" when screen was turn on by gesture (default: false)
turn_on_screen_by_gesture_disable_auto_screen_off=1
Screen Off/on by Navigation (POI) alerts: Screen off after 15 sec. (Locus setting)

To Do (try). Remove the Locus admin rights for screen off control in Android.
Restart phone > Locus > Use (a) Locus screen on/off  action. Ex. By (gesture).
Locus asks for the admin rights. Allow. Does not help ?

I do not use always on display I just use the bypass of lock screen.
Yesterday I was looking for some track and phone was on charge, I stopped using the phone and the display went off but when the phone reached the 100% of charge the charge notification unlocked the phone displaying the locus map.
I told you this case if could be useful to find the bug.

really? Maybe you have just disabled this option in settings & points > tracks > track label content?

Sorry now it's ok I restored in beta a backup from pro where this setting was not stored.
