A limited list of apps > Locus Map does not have permission to access all available apps on the device, only the pre-selected ones. So I need to manually define supported apps. This is different compared to Tasker.

That's all fine but Quick bookmark in panel opens a dialog to select a bookmark.
For me a feature to add a bookmark button directly in the side/bottom/... panel will be much better.
This is only possible via tasker plugin. That's why I use both ways today.

All locus notifications are active
Permissions for Locus are active except physical activity.
Out of my curiosity, what is "physical activity" in locus for?

hmm, there seem to be some changes with notifications as well with the latest Android 13 update  . May you please check app system settings > Permissions > Notifications ... are they enabled for Locus Map?

HEIC format: I've informed @Marek Scholtz , he will look at it.

@lor74cas - this denial of access is due to the access=no and foot=permissive character of a military road. It can be fixed and I make a remark for another round of profiles-fixes. But also this is a good example of a segment, where some kind of warning should be issued anyway. A military road can be closed (at least from OSM point of view) anytime. These warnings are something we started to consider.

Well, I fully understand the request, but honestly it is quite low on our priority list for now as it would bring various challenges in the UI which would need to be solved differently and for now we rather spend the time on what we believe even more useful updates. But once the time will be right, we will consider it again!

I use the pc for convenience and I also do it to have a bigger screen than the phone one, so I suggest inserting an option to hide the top bar that you see in the attachment, which most of the time is a useless waste of space.

Oh, I remember I made that suggestion short after the web planner appeared... IMO it's super obvious, especially since we have wide screens, 16+ : 9 aspect ratios...

This is an alternative to the Locus default live tracking, it displays more information and shows the current recorded track as well as the planned route. It also queues all information while offline and sends it to the server when back online.

It will record the current position from Locus every 10 seconds and every 10 minutes it will toggle airplane mode off, try to send the data to the server and then toggle airplane mode back on. This of course is all easily configurable in the scripts.

The server side scripts was based on uatschitchun's code.

The Locus-Addon-Tasker I'm using is a fork of Falcosc's with a few bug fixes and updated to the latest Locus API, I think you could get this working with Facosc's version as well, you would just need to modify the scripts where it queries the API for the GPS accuracy as the latest API version has split the accuracy into vertical and horizontal components.

It does require quite a bit of technical knowledge to get it setup though so I do not recommend it for the faint-hearted. It involves setting up a website, compiling and installing an android app and configuring Tasker scripts.

Hi guys, aerial tiles are downloaded directly from the "Here" servers and we pay for them quite high price. That's why they are available only as part of the Gold Premium and also not downloadable. Thanks for understanding.

I've today published a new version of the Locus Map 4 on Google Play. Today only for 25% of users, rest in next days. If anyone wants to test & play with it (or with the Locus Map Pro version), they are all already available on Google Drive!

Just for your info, why I do not communicate often as usual. Well, winter, some team planning, family require also some more time now, some illness and working on the system for one-time payments that consume most of my (not just) time. So nothing special and unusual, but just informing that app is still in progress   

Stay all healthy and don't be too much hidden at home like me, it does not worth it
