I agree with Balloni - user needs to be able to edit/ delete/ modify the current 3 options "stroll around", "take a walk", "mountain hiker". You will have a stream of requests to improve this.

@Andrew: ah, in "Folders" tab ... then it should be ok. First left button just select/deselect all folders, is it working in this way to you?

ah yes - working for me too, sorry  minor suggestion but two ticks side-by-side seems confusing, maybe the First left button "tick" could be an eye icon?

And "Track rec button" - check menu > settings > Map - control & panel > Top panel hiding (if you have "track rec" button in top panel ) or "Function panel visibility" is you have it in right panel.

I have Top panel hiding = unticked (not changed)
I have "track rec" button on right side as per screen capture that I posted (not changed)
I have "Function panel visibility" = never hide (not changed)

@Andrew: still visible? Funny, and why don' I see it too? Have to check it more carefully.
About track record icon - is your right side panel set to be permanently visible?

Confirmed 2nd arrow icon on POI Alert > Folders screen. On 2 devices, both with 3.14.2.

track record icon - I have Settings > Track recording > Auto-hide side panel, Style: Side panel: tick. On 2 devices, both with 3.14.2. But as said, we had discussion months ago that if user adds own button Track recording to main screen then the side-panel button should be hidden. This worked OK until very recently, maybe 3.14.0.

I'm not sure whether bug or feature. I think this was discussed long time ago, and was decided track recording button on left side was redundant (don't show) if user has added their own top or right side track recording button? I noticed however this change of behavior a few versions ago (now shows both buttons again) but only just now remembered to post. Hopefully you agree the left side (green) button should not be displayed.

Quite a long list of news, maybe longer then main 3.14.0 release.

Thanks Andrew, but this issue should be already fixed in latest public version. Is same happen to you with latest 3.14.1?

The screen cap is from 3.14.1, so not yet fixed for me.

I notice in last beta (but maybe longer) that the POI Alert window has a redundant arrow at lower resolution:

Tapping the icon does nothing.

tap GPX > import to Locus still OK for me with ES File Manager

The compass size is now fixed in 3.14 Pro. Thanks.

@gynta @just - thanks for both your help - it turns out I had "red cursor V2 - Locus community" map cursor source selected. When I change to default or Locus (v. 2014) the compass is now OK. Curious - the "red cursor V2" is displayed OK in 3.13.1.5, so I'm guessing it work work again with next version of Pro. Note I haven't changed the map cursor for a long time, but clearly 3.13.1.5 did make some difference. Sorry to waste both your time.

what version of Locus Pro and Android are you using?
I wonder that your icons of Pro differs so much from mine.
I use still Android 4.3 and Pro 3.13.1 on Note 2 with 240dpi

@jusc - Pro 3.13.1 (latest version), Android 5.1.1, Xperia Z1 ~400dpi, standard icons (as far as I'm aware), I'll say again the compass icon in Pro was "good" size and only changed size when I upgraded Locus beta 3.13.1.5 (28th Nov) which in the release notes says "work in progress - icons..."

Compass arrow, this is different story - difference in old and new version is not so big I think, so leave it for now please.

The difference between old and new version is not so big? My pro compass icon was fine until the recent beta with new icons. I already mentioned this at the time. beta compass (right) is fine, pro compass (left) is unusable. Solution?

Yes, the backup folder in Locus free was invalid (after restore from Locus Pro ZIP). However two points:

• the problem was obvious once I checked Settings > Misc > Default Folders > Backup, the message text could be much more user friendly
• why does the message occur at all when I haven't run Locus yet?
