I agree fully with Poutnic on new internal themes. I used on off last few weeks but now other than to view city names more clearly with Road theme I have given up hope. Will stick with OAM.

I would keep scenario themes as the baseline, with bunch of check-in options to tweak them,
like Elevate theme for OpenAndroMaps ( Hiking / Cycling / City, each with lot of options )

In AUSTRALIA-Tasmania more summer riding, for South Australia more winter, for top end only dry-season, each state is very different. Every culture is different. Viva la difference.

Why, if there are season-based paper maps ? E.g. summer/winter outdoor maps for highlands or mountains.

I disagree. Those activities don't necessarily happen just in that season. Confusing. Why not just individual activity based themes like Elements LE? Seems consistent with recording profiles, maybe.

I observe I can no longer merge a track with a route - the route points are completely ignored. I guess because no timestamps. But I really hope you consider this a bug because many times if I forget to reenable track record so I "patch" by adding in a route for my records.

And on this subject I see you have again supported a function panel track record button. This is great. Now fully obvious if track recording NOT enabled. But I think it's been working/ not working/ wanted/ not wanted many times now. Please leave it.

The town names are very clear to read on the new lomap road theme in 3.18.4. Nice. Will there eventually be a cycling theme and a greater number of tick boxes for hiding map features?

@menion we've discussed GPX trkpt not containing a time element a few times. I can see in 3.18.1 that nearly all saved tracks are now displayed correctly. BUT I have one track where list view shows huge total time, but detail statistics now show I guess the proper time. How can I upload screenshot with Android phone? It ignores the upload button. Hope you understand anyway.

@menion a month ago maybe you made a change so that if satellite signal drops out you now automatically stop GPS then restart it. I have now seen this restart a few times, it works perfectly, thanks.

@Andres Heard & &john_percy .. sun on compass is current sun position. It has nothing to do with sunrise/sunset

Moon rise is not the same as sunset!

I didn't say moon rise? I asked if icon for sunset, because there is icon for (I guess) sunrise.

Good questions, I've never seen description of skyplot icons either.

Do I miss something? Compass screen has sun icon for direction of sunrise but I don't see any moon icon for sunset.

@menion sorry for delay, am cycle touring, Android Chrome won't allow to attach any file strange, as I said before simple to reproduce, just delete any (time) XML from GPX, my test file then has 407000 hours.
