Da es sich hier um die Absicht handelt, einen Online-Log zu verfassen, der sowieso für alle Internetnutzer sichtbar wird, spätestens dann, wenn man sich kostenlos auf der GC-Seite angemeldet hat, ist der Beitrag hier nicht nur absolut am Thema vorbei, sondern auch noch sowas von daneben.
Du kannst dem Owner (sofern du ihn kennst) bestimmt auch einen Brief anstatt des Logs schicken. Wird er sich bestimmt auch drüber freuen.

Sollte auf Android unter Einstellungen - Apps - Locus - Standardmäßig öffnen abschaltbar sein.
Da ist Locus wohl als Standardprogramm für diese Art Dateien ausgewählt.

Wenn du die Einstellungen so vornimmst wie oben beschrieben, dann wird die Karte automatisch geladen, sobald du den Bereich verlässt.
Sprich, du hast Bayern und italien installiert, stellst Bayern als Karte ein und wenn du dich jetzt von Bayern Richtung Italien bewegst, dann wird die Italien-Karte automatisch geladen ohne die Karte in den Einstellungen wechseln zu müssen.

Bei mir zeigt es auch keine Linien an. Nur wildes Gepiepse, wenn ich in die Nähe komme.
Also Funktion läuft, aber eben nicht mit den Linien.

Ich folge diesem Threat nicht dauerhaft und es ist mir mittlerweile auch zu lange die über 400 Posts zu durchsuchen. Hoffe aber, dass die Frage nicht schon mal gestellt wurde...

Wer hat eigentlich bei der Geocachingbeschreibung aus dem Wort "Listing" (so war es bis vor ein paar Updates) das (neue) Wort "Auflistung" gemacht?
Ich kenne keinen Cacher (und davon kenne ich ne ganze Menge) der dieses Wort benutzen würde geschweige denn damit was anfangen könnte.
Bei aller Verbundenheit mit unserer deutschen Sprache, aber das sagt (wahrscheinlich) kaum jemand. Bitte wieder ändern...

I am quite new to Locus but I don't succeed to show all the maps (Bavaria and Italy) together. So its not possible to plan a route from Munich to Venice.
Is this normal? My LoMaps are on the SD card.

Try the following:
Menu - Maps - offline maps - select in first button same map type and check load maps automatically

I don't know the exact wording because I use German language...

Also auf Androidgeräten kenne ich keine Tastatur bei der das nicht geht...
Standard, Swiftkey, Minuum, Fleksy, Go, etc.
Das sind jetzt nur mal einige die ich nutze bzw genutzt habe...

Habe jetzt Field Notes auf Pro umgestellt damit ich meine Logs einsprechen kann. Leider finde ich diese Funktion nicht. Kann mir jemand bitte weiterhelfen.

Zum Einsprechen kann man doch auch über die jeweilige Tastatur-App die Mikrophonfunktion nutzen. Da braucht es doch keine extra Funktion in der App .
Oder habe ich die Absicht falsch verstanden?

Since some time (not from this version on) I have figured out some strange behaviour of my installation.
1. Links in geocache listings doesn't work. They start, then some flickering of the screen and then listing is shown again. Sometimes it works after trying several times. (pro and beta)
2. When I try to update the logs of geocaching the updated logs are not shown directly as before. I have to get out of the listing and reopen it again and then I see the updated logs. This is in pro version. In beta it works like before.
3. Same issue as #2 but with the cache solver app. When I add a waypoint in this app normally this waypoint was directly displayed when returning to locus. Now I have to leave the listing and after re-entering the waypoint is shown. Only pro, beta works.

I already checked both installed versions, but all the settings are absolutely equal. Perhaps something in config file?

Sorry to write this again, but the problem below still exists as written on Version 3.21.x - 11.01.2017 - #51:

Since the last version I have a problem with the automatic movement of a geocache after logging it. I have a folder "home" where I put in (to-do) geocaches for this region.
My settings for logging are "always log offline" and "move to folder" (i.e. "logging") after logging.
After my (offline) log only a copy is created in the "logging" folder, but it is not moved from the "home" folder and so I have the cache as logged in both folders.

Because I keep all my logs stored in Locus I always have to delete manually one of them.

Could you please have a look at it again?

And by the way, could it be possible to integrate a possibility to have a second selection what to do after an online and an offline log? (very special suggestion I guess).
Explanation how I normally log. To-do caches in "home", offline (found but still to log online) caches in "logging" (just to find them quicker after a long caching day) and folder "logs" after online (final) log sent to the website.
