@slarti76, @tapio
Simply add a new photo to the point and then long-click on this photo.
Took me a while. "Add Photo attachment to an existing point, save, re-open, then longclick".

Quote from: slarti76 on March 11, 2021, 09:16:31Changelog says "option to set photo as icon in the new point screen (long click)".
Can somebody explain? I don't get it, can't find any new option here - what am I not seeing?
You're not seeing what I'm not seeing.

Btw, I noticed nothing of the new Locus crash reporter functionality. The app just dies and goes away quietly.

Same to me ...
I had some crashes🙄 too ... and hoped they were send automaticly. 😏
There was a crash for me when I tapped on a geocoded picture icon. But I was not able to reproduce. But my guts say it is related to the opening of the bottom area.

Thanks, trackpoint bottom area "halfway hidden buttons" problem solved.

Can the internal profiles be accessed from file system side? Didn't find them. Just curious.

[Bottom buttonbar for trackpoints/waypoints is out of screen mostly]

Quote from: Menion on March 01, 2021, 09:50:04oki, thanks. I hoped it is solved as this is quite a complicated problem :/. Will look at it during a week.
I want to add:

- It happens only in (Fullscreen&&Portrait mode) (not in landscape mode)
- Resolution is 1080x2244

@tapio
so now you have a problem with the bottom panel, that was not previously visible? Damn ...

Yup, it happens in Fullscreen mode only.

Opening times are nicely aligned now.

not sure if this was reported already - when opening a POI while in fullscreen mode, the bottom bar with the buttons (edit, navigate to, share etc) gets cut off
Same here now with latest beta. But here it's newly introduced imo with feb 26 version. Have not recognized it before.

I'm working on it ... ufff. I really believed we will be able to publish LM4 by end of February.
Believe me it's really hard, I'm supressing my itch to post further suggestions here. But that would be really unreasonable. Yeah, you have put a lot of changes into Locus recently (it's nice, but I was surprised) and hence, imo, the delay had to be expected.

Very good behaviour of the trackpoint screen, with map move on open! Also, zooming via 2 fingers works (I was thinking it would close the bottom area). Good stuff!

- I think the 1 trackpoint fwd/backward arrows are too small.

- Moving an embedded waypoint to another position does not refresh it on display. It is only visually refreshed after hide/show of track.

- Opening times not fully visible, also alignment looks funny. Screenshot.

- Crash when tapping on online Lopoint "Post Filiale 509", 51.61619, 7.59881

Had Locus crash out in the wilds, but cannot tell what I did.

Locus crashes and quits hard when I click on one of the POIs in the attached image. I believe those are online POIs or some such, at least their not my own points and the don't appear when I'm offline.
Seen such hard crashes on online poi usage as well. But I typically do not use them.
Yup,tried now. Show online poi, tap on a summit icon, boom crash.

Longtap map, yes, sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. Does not appear at all or only a small part which disappears if you lift finger. Does not seem to be related to fullscreen or display of toolbars. Device is 1920x2244

Longtap anywhere on map brings up place Information. But it does only stay if I do longtap+dragUp - it's a bit strange.

Re:
Quote"I'll try to integrate it better with the currently visible map screen, which should cover the need for zoom & work with the map.
Interesting idea with swiping between interesting points on the track. I'm writing to "consider" list."
I am currently thinking
a) trackpoint details could be displayed like waypoint or geocoded pictures, in the new bottom area
b) in any of the above mentioned there should be a possibility to navigate fore/back. See attachment.
c) not sure about the future of the old fullscreen info pages
