I've been editing tracks (in locus) and everyone with basecamp has complained the tracks were broken.  I couldn't find a reason,  so I told them basecamp sucked.

it only works for zoom levels 10 / 11 ?

i've noticed over the last few weeks that locus has become increasingly unstable. i can scroll along a track or route, and within 50 miles (at any zoom level, vector or image based maps) it will blur to a white screen and crash.

recently, just starting the app has caused it to crash repeatedly, within 4-10 seconds from starting it. there is 180 mb free memory, with the app running.

is there any fix to this on 2.3.x devices ?

You should save your export in GE as kmZ !

I'll be using Locus Pro to track a harescramble (race) coming up soon, and then also to guide some friends around about 35 miles of single track. Hopefully I can show off the image overlay features from the overlay map above while we're eating supper too. Like anyone wants to look at a phone when there is beer and a campfire... lol

but when i try to import to locus, it shows nothing. i'm assuming something is wrong with the file, but it displays perfectly on google earth. what did i miss ?

in past versions, I could touch a point on the track, and view course bearing, speed, altitude, etc, but in 3.3.1 all that is displayed for info is the overall info for the entire track.


could you please show me what I'm doing wrong, or return to the previous information display of individual track points please ?

I just updated to the latest version of locus, I believe this is 3.3.0, and noticed map scaling to speed shows the tickbox for on/off, but none of the settings that were previously below it for setting the zoom levels.

I just noticed this and that poi are working in latest beta! is it possible to make pro version work with them?

the system that oruxmaps uses is fantastic, but I don't know enough about MyTracks to implement it via the api.

very easy to setup, even easiert to add users via email address.





osmand just started live tracking also, but it's very beta, I always end up being some guy walking across the Atlantic

Thanks got it. For some reason the online tab is not visible on my Galaxy S2 (but it shows on another phone).

I use both the tmobile and Att version of the s2 (t989 and t777) and it shows on both of them. The t777 gets a satellite fix faster.

i bet the developers of Locus would be very proud, they are being compared to a multi-million dollar company, and considered BETTER.
