Thank you for your efforts!
The Theme looks really nice!

tried it on my server, seems to work like intended so far. Will do further testing.

Thank you very much!

@Menion:

Thanks for adding nogo button in navigation menu, tested it at the weekend, works as expected! (despite the fact that I first forgot to move the cursor to another position than my current location before adding the nogo  ;D ).

Hm, the more I think of it, the more I want to say: please also save shaping/definition points into exported gpx. Because for me, they belong to the track the same way via-points do, they are essential for the shape of the track (and the user normally sets them intentionally).
This way, editing the (re-imported) track later is easier and you immediately see the intention of the creator of the track.
In the resulting track (when not in routeplanner mode) they should stay invisible and of course they should be ignored when recalculating in navigation mode (as it is now).

Any progress about nogo radius user interface?
Did you come to a conclusion about export of full via point data by now?

Sure, no worry ;).
Ah, this is probably not yet even in Beta, hmm :). My feature where in navigation menu ( click on next-command arrow during navigation ) is button that adds NOGO point under map center and force recalculate, so when you see, there is no way during navigation, with few clicks you may recompute detour.

Sounds great! Would you please be so nice and add it to next Beta? I've had several situations in the woods where a path was heavily overgrown where this feature would have been extremely useful!

Yes dashboard ... I tought it will be my evening relax
strange way of relaxing ;)
I agree with menion ;-)
I also thought of a nice relaxing "sofa task" immediately :D

Quote from: Andrew Heard on September 22, 2017, 00:54:04This is, only a very small % of user's tracks will have more than one segment+profile combination.
I have frequently had to change profiles during route planning where the map is imperfect. Sometimes I have had to manually draw part of a track where paths are missing or don't join up. Sometimes I have changed the profile to choose different options.

I also use track planner this way and I'm very happy that Locus offers the possibility to do so. Maybe menion could save the used profile for each segment with the track in order to use it for (partial) recomputation later? But maybe this could get complicated if you delete or update profiles and want to recompute an old track you created earlier with the old profiles?

try to allow creating 1:1 same dashboard as is current statistics tab, ends on neverending list
does default/user dashboard have to be as perfect as current precisely designed/ well presented stats tab? If I had to choose between A) flexible user defined stats using current dashboard editor or B) existing fixed stats tab, I would vote for A.

+1, I would also vote for option A!

Hey, welcome back!

hope you also got some time to rest and relax!?

What do you mean by "quick NoGo points from navigation menu"? Is this already in BETA?

Btw.: I forgot to praise yet another idea you implemented in BETA: Dashboards in Track Statistics! Great Idea (I assume you will provide a default Dashboard for not so experienced users?)!
#111
OMG I'm really dumb :-) so easy and simple and of course it's right there in the manual but I overread it :-( Thanks for the PDF illustration!
#112
Maybe I'm too dump, but where can I change the number of top panel buttons in 3.25.5? The manual is not very specific about where to find the setting or at least I can't find it (I thought Menu > Settings > Maps > Panels & Buttons > LAYOUT > Set function Panels?).

I'm pretty sure I changed this setting in the past but now can't find where any more.

Thanks in advance,

First of all, I'm very impressed by the new route planner!

- Session save/restore: excellent, I didn't dare to ask for this feature and now you've implemented it!  ;D
- Undo/Redo: perfect!
- Info bar/graph: I was about to post this as an idea in helpdesk, seems you read my mind and implemented it right away!  ;D ;D ;D
- NOGOs: very nice, can't wait to test it! (haven't had time to install new brouter testing version yet)
- add viapoint between two existing points of the route: very helpful!
- possibility to invoke trackplanner with existing track: a dream come true! Never ever re-plan a track because you forgot something (e.g. a via-point) (and it's even working with gpx-exported/re-imported tracks!  :) :) :) )

About NOGO radius: It would be very nice to be able to change the radius, because sometimes you just want to block one small section of a path (and not the neighbouring path also), the other time you maybe want to block a whole village!
I imagine it could be nice to have radius editing controls similar to brouter-web (create a nogo and afterwards edit it in brouter-web, this gives a handle for the center and one for the radius). But maybe it's too difficult to implement it. Also, I'm not sure if this method is suitable for small phone screens with your finger(s) occupying the screen!? (on the other hand, quick measure seems to work reasonably well)

About your idea of saving all data of a viapoint (e.g. a Cache) into the track: yes, please! Also export this info into gpx to share with friends: would be great!

ps: I can also reproduce the bug matmas discovered!

regards,
Zossebart

Hey developers of OAM-compatible themes,

I would like to inform you about changes in OAM-maps as of August 2017:

http://www.openandromaps.org/important-changes-for-themes-tag-mapping

Of course you are already aware of them, arent't you?

Zossebart

let´s try it in your wording,

attached screencast start with restored backup of my  "Geocache" preset
sec 7 - i restore my "Basic Setting" preset
sec 18 - i edit function panel  of "Basic Setting"
sec - 27 i add function "Weather"
sec 30 - "Weather" is added to list
sec 34 - back to map view, "Weather" isn´t visible :-[
sec 42 - back to presets an restore "Basic Setting"  once again
sec 44 - back to map view, "Weather" is visible :)
sec 58 - i remove "Weather"
sec 62 - back to map view, "Weather" is furthermore visible :-[
sec 69 - back to presets an restore "Basic Setting"  once again "Weather" is´nt visible

please read menions post carefully again:

@balloni55: seems there is still a problem with understanding "presets" :). There really is not anything like "active preset". It is just a bunch of settings that, after click, is set. Imagine it like "backup of settings", that you simply restore by one click, nothing more!

Your observed behaviour is exactly as it is intended. There is no "active preset"!!! This also means, that the changed settings of the preset are not applied until you "run" or "tap" the preset.

Another try for explanation: try to think of a preset as a list of instructions (like a batch file or a computer program) for settings which can be "processed" by tapping on the preset. If you change something in this list, it is not automatically applied but only when you process this list (in Locus: by tapping the preset). Similar to when you change some lines in a batch file and save it, it is not executed automatically.

Hallo Kommentore,

never bevore i saw this "Hardware Buttons" setting inside config.cfg
is there any description

Hey, I asked for this feature in helpdesk and Menion was so kind to implement it. See there:

http://help.locusmap.eu/topic/bluettoth-button-integration

Maybe documentation for this is still missing from the manual...

Also some feedback on the new route planning screen:

First impression very positive.
It is nice to have more screen space for the map display.
Also, the backround route calculation is very nice, because it at least allows searching the map for the next waypoint while the (possibly lengthy) route calculation of the previous segment goes on...I like this very much!

Some possible improvements:

- make it possible to change map theme / activate additional POIs/Tracks from database, search for POIs while in route editing mode. Sometimes I change/add these things while planning a route, mainly because I forgot to do it before.

- allow map overlays to display also on route planning screen. Any activated map overlay seems to be disabled in the current implementation of the route planning screen!
