I do not think the size of the external sd-card is the problem.

On my Samsung Galaxy Note4, running Android Stock ROM 6.0.1, I have an extenal 64GB sd-card installed.
Downloading LoMaps to this sd-card or running backups from Locus on the external sd-card works as expected without any problem.
Even my "backup device", a Samsung Galaxy S4, running Android 5.0.1 Stock ROM, do not have any problems with its installed 64 GB external sd-card when downloading LoMaps or running backups from Locus to the external sd-card.

Would you start a feature request at Locus HelpDesk? My vote is sure for that feature.
Or should I start the feature request at Locus HelpDesk?

PS: Forgot to mention, that the folders on the external sd-cards are named ""/extLocus/backup/" and "/extLocus/mapsVector". I. e. Folders created by me. I wrote  read somewhere that Locus might get problems, if the root-folder on external sd-card also named "/Locus/".

Locus can only write some data to another folder than the default folder, in your case "/storage/emulated/0/Android/menion.lodus.pro/files/Locus/export", on the external sd-card. lodus is locus I think  .
Which one you can find here,  especially here.

But I think there is a feature request to enable the export of gpx-files to external sd-card to any folder selected in the settings of Locus. But I do not find it at the moment. Maybe somewhere in Locus Helpdesk there is a corresponding feature request.

Because Locus is already able to write backups to the external sd-card I can imagine exporting gpx files on external sd-card would be possible to.

As far as I know exporting gpx-files to sd-card worked until Android 4.3 and only rooted devices since Android 4.4.

Aus Deinem letzten Post folgere ich ....

(1.) .... Du hast eine OpenAndroMap V3 heruntergeladen.
(2.) .... auf Deinem Smartphone sind noch immer bzw, wieder die Freizeitkarten-Themes V3 installiert.
(3.) .... deshalb werden bei der OpenAndoMaps Karte auch die Freizeitkarten Themes angezeigt.
(4.) .... die Freizeitkarte ist keine V3 Karte. Welche V-Version sie ist, kann ich nicht sagen.
(5.) .... deshalb bekommst Du bei der Freizeitkarte auch keine Freizeitkarten-Themes angezeigt.
(6.) .... Locus 3.38.7 unterstützt definitiv V4 Vectorkarten, sonst würde es bei mir ja nicht funktionieren  .

Wie gesagt, bei mir funktioniert das Zusammenspiel OpenAndroMap V4 und OpenAndroMap V4 Theme problemlos. Es muss sich also nicht unbeding um ein Locus Problem handeln.

Wenn Du willst, kannst Du Dein Problem ja auch mal in der Grünen Hölle posten.

Lade mal eine OpenAndoMaps V4 Deutschlandkarte aus Tapios Link herunter und installiere sie in Locus. Diese müsste im Dateinamen ein "ML" am Ende haben. Dann ist es definitiv eine V4 Karte.
Wenn Du diese dann in Locus anwählst sind garntiert die Freizeitkarten Themes wieder weg.

Detailinfos zur Karte bekommst Du, wenn Du im Kartenauswahlmenü bei der entsprechenden Karte auf die drei Punkte ganz rechts klickst und dann "Details" anwählst. Wenn Du dort unter "KARTENSPRACHE" mehrere Sprachen auswählen kannst, ist es definitiv eine V4 Karte. Fehlt die Auswahlmöglichkeit der Sprache ist es noch eine V3 Karte.

Außerdem gilt:
Die Themes müssen zur Karte passen. D. h. ein Freizeitkarten Theme wird eine OpenAndroMap immer schlecht aussehen lassen.

Laut diesem Link ist die aktuellste Freizeitkarte tatsächlich eine V4 Vectormap.

Die original internen Themes von Locus werden also nur noch bei den original LoMaps bzw. einer V3 Freizeitkarte angezeigt und können nur noch mit diesen Karten verwendet werden.

Du kannst also im Moment nur auf die Themes der Freizeitkarte umsteigen bzw. diese mit der aktuellsten Freizeitkarte V4 verwenden, solange die original Locus Themes nicht V4 kompatibel sind.

PS: Ich verwende die OpenAndroMaps (im Moment sogar V3 und V4 Karten parallel)  mit den entsprechenden OpenAndroMaps Themes in Locus und habe damit keinerlei Probleme. Ich lade die entsprechenden Daten allerdings erst per Hand auf einen USB-Stick und entfalte diese dann ins entsprechende Verzeichnis.

Irgendwo habe ich hier im Forum oder im Locus Helpdesk gelesen, dass die original Locus Themes noch nicht V4 kompatibel sind und deshalb bei einer V4 Vectormap nicht angezeigt werden.

Bei mir werden sie jedenfalls nur  bei den LoMaps angeboten / angezeigt. Bei den V4 Vectormaps von OAM bekomme ich nur die OAM V4 Themes und ein "Standard" Theme zur Auswahl angeboten. Was für mich aber normal ist.

Meine Vermutung:
Die aktuellste Freizeitkarte ist eine V4 Vectorkarte. Somit wäre es für mich logisch, dass die original Locus Themes bei dieser Karte nicht mehr angezeigt werden, wenn es sich wirklich um eine V4 Vectorkarte handelt.

As a reaction to the new GPS Averaging app Menion reopend Position averaging when taking a point at the help desk.
So if there are enough votes for the idea there might be a solution direct within locus.

I was searching for an alternative for GPS Averaging app to.

After a long search I found / bought Precision GPS Pro.
In the pro version there is a "world" button where I can send the coordinates to locus pro where I then can create / save the coordiantes in a corresponding poi. As a first step I have to determine locus pro as the recipient of the coordinates. This works only for new pois. I have found no way so far to put these coordiantes in an already existing poi.

There is a free version of that app too. But I do not know if the "world" button works there too.
And I do not know so far how precise the app determines the coordiantes by comparison to the old GPS Averaging app.

Also, wenn es sich um dieses Problem handelt, hat Menion den Fehler entdeckt und er will eine neue BETA erzeugen, um zu testen, ob der Fehker wirklich gefixt ist.

[Geocaching question]

Geocaching question

When logging a cache, there is an option "Log date only". Is there any reason for this setting now? When we enable this settings, defined time is used to replace {t} parametr in log, but on geocaching server is send log with time set to 12:00.

For me it never makes sense, to log a geocache without the exact found time. So for me the checkbox could be removed. Then I expect the exact log time in {t} parameter and in online log at groundspeak when sending log to geocaching server or exporting it to a fieldnote-file . I. e. exact the same way the checkbox is not checked.

As far as I know the time is not storred at groundspeak server. Maybe it is changed with the new API, I do not know But I am using the time part of the log to get a chronological order of my founds per day. An, thanks to the {t}-parameter the found time is present at least in my logs.

In this forum there are even two posts about this checkbox I have answered. There the checkbox was accidentally checked and the user wondered why all logs where set to 12:00 at groundspeak server. Unfortunately the checkbox is hidden under the keyboard. So the state of that checkbox is not visible immediately.

ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass Du im OAM Forum schneller eine Antwort bekommst.
Dort hat z. B. jemand schon mal nach dem Unterschied Germany_North und Germany_South zu Germany komplett gefragt. Ist zwar nicht das, was Du suchst, geht aber in eine ähnliche Richtung.
