Why not renaming it? It would be clearer for you and for Locus. ;-)
You can link your maps after renaming with maps/add maps (tree dots).

The problem are not the vectormaps but a "little" GSAK macro I wrote to make spoiler pictures offline available to Locus.
In this macro the path of the location of the spoiler pictures is "hardcode" to the "Locus\data\geoachcing" folder on the external sd card. So I have to fix this first, than I can rename the "Locus" folder on the external sd card  .

But since about 15 minutes it works. I do not know why, but it works  .

Hello menion,

after importing some geocaches I tried to reproduce the problem.
But now it works so far!?!?! But if it happens again I will send you a log file .

Anyway I found another small issue introduced with Locos Pro 3.0.2.
That is:
(1.) Import about 5000 geocaches
(2.) The import dialog is shown.
(3.) Only "Ausgewählten Order leeren" is checked
(4.) Click on "Importieren"
(5.) The import dialog is not hidden as in earlier versions
(6.) Import the caches. Everything works fine
(7.) Close the import summary
(8.) Now you have to close the import dialog yourself by clicking "X"

The import process works as expected. The number of imported geocaches is up to date.
But the import dialog is not hidden, when you click "Importieren".

Did you rename the Locus folder on external sd-card ? p.e. Locus_old.

No, I did not. Both "Root"-folders on the internal sd card and on the external sd card are named "Locus".
Do I have to rename the one on the external sd card?
I thought, when I checked "Nicht noch einmal fragen" Locus Pro knows after a new start of Locus Pro which "Locus" folder to use by default, even if they are named the same.

using Locus Pro 3.0.2. I have the following problem with Android 4.1.2.:

(1) I have moved almost the complete Locus folder from the external sd card to the internal sd card of my smartphone.
(2) After that on the external sd card there are only the "Locus\mapsVecor" and "Locus\data\geocaching" folders still present. In the "Locus\mapsVector" folder there are my vector maps because they do not fit on the internal sd card. The "Locus\data\geoaching" folder is empty at the moment.
(3) At Locus Pro program start I am asked to choose which Locus folder should be used, the one on the external sd card or the one on the internal sd card. I select the folder on the internal sd card. Although I check the checkbox "Nicht noch einmal fragen" the same dialog apears when I restart locus.

What do I wrong?

ich spiele mit dem Gedanken, neben meiner Locus Pro Version auch mal die Testversion von Locus zu installieren.

Wenn ich es richtig verstanden habe, wird diese "parallel" zur bereits installierten Locus Pro Version installiert.
Gibt es dabei eine einfache Methode, sämtliche Einstellungen von Locus Pro auf die Testversion von Locus zu übertragen?
U. U. via einer Backup-Routine aus Locus Pro und einer Restore-Routine in die Testversion von Locus?
Oder geht das nur per Hand?

Hello,

as you can read here, groundspeak changes the term "Stages of a Multicache" to "Physical Stage" and "Question to Answer" to "Virtual Stage".

As you can see in the attached gpx-file the corresponding child waypoints are also getting new <sym> .... </sym> tags "<sym>Physical Stage</sym>" and "<sym>Virtual Stage</sym>".

I think, there have to be some adaptions in locus, addons, ...

kann mir jemand sagen, wie das Zusammenspiel zwischen Locos Pro 2.20.2 und der App GPS Status genau aussieht?
Laut diesem Link soll das Zusammenspiel Locus <--> GPS Status ab der Version 3.7 von GPS Status ja möglich sein.

(1.) Was muss ich wo wie einrichten?
(2.) Welche Vorteile habe ich davon?
(3.) Wie merke ich in Locus, dass GPS Status verwendet wird?

Ein entsprechender Link auf ein "How to" reicht schon  .

"Fetch from" is actually (by Groundspeak) called " Grab it from ...". Or you mean the basic type of log - "Retrieve from ..." ?

Sorry for not being precise enough. I mean the basic type "Retrieve from <name of the cache>".

As you can see here loc files from geocaching.com are available for basic memeber. They do not contain all information of the geocache like the corresponding gpx-files you can download from groundspeak.com as a premium member.

So importing should work although the information they contains are realy very "basic".
More information can be found here.
Although it is  not  realy clear,  if locus supports loc-files for importing geocaches. Maybe the  information the  loc-file contains is not enough to import that  data as a  geocache.

using locus pro 2.20.2 this it how it works:

(1.) Select the cache you want to drop the travelbug
(2.) Click on the "tree points" button in the right upper corner of the cache dialog
(3.) Select "Feldnotizen" (sorry,I only have the german version of the button captions present)
(4.) Select "Logge deinen Besuch"
(5.) Change the found status of the cache to anything you need (If you already found the cache select "Notiz schreiben")
(6.) Complete the form
(7.) Select the tab "Inventar" above the dialog below "Bestätigen"
(8.) Click the "Laden" button
(9.) The trackables in the cache an the trackable in your hands appear
(10.) Select the appropiate action in the "Keine Aktion" box for the travelbug
(11.) Log the cache by pressing "Bestätigen"

So it should work  .
I only have not find out how to write an individual "abgelegt"- or "besucht"-text for the travelbug.

I found some further information here.
In the chapter "How to" there is a subchapter called "Log trackable". There is mentioned:

f you need to log trackable within some cache, it's recommended to use methods described here, so directly during logging a cache.

Unfortunately the link here points to a page that does not exist  .
But I am still searching for more information  ....

as far as I know you have to log the geocache where you want to drop your trackable.
If you have already logged that geocache as found you can write a note.
In that logging dialog there ist a possibility to drop the trackable (via a button I think).
I have Locus Pro not present at the moment but I will look at it as soon as possible.

As far as I know the groundspeak-api offers no possibility to drop a trackable without
logging / write a note to the correspondig geocache where it is droped in.
