Hallo kleinerBruder,

seit Android 4.4.2 auf meinem Galaxy S4 habe ich meine Vektorkarten auf eine externe SD-Karte ausgelagert.
Dieses hat sich auch beim Aufstieg auf Android 5.0.1 nicht geändert.
Der Rest der Anwendung liegt auf der internen SD-Karte.

Alles läuft bei mir ohne Probleme.
Man muss Locus nur sagen, wo er die Vektorkarten findet.
Eine Anleitung dafür findest Du hier unter dem Punkt C. How to leave my maps on external SD card.

Aus Faulheit habe ich den Ordner auf der externen SD-Karte auch einfach "/Locus/mapsVector/" genannt. Darin befinden sich alle meine Vektorkarten für Locus. Der Order "/Locus/mapsVector/" auf der internen SD-Karte ist dann natürlich leer ;-).

Wichtig dabei:
Ich benutze zum verschieben der Vektorkarten auf die externe SD-Karte den internen Dateimanager von Android 5.0.1, da der nur schreibend auf die externe SD-Karte zugreifen kann. Obwohl, mit dem ES Datei Explorer bzw. einem gerooteten Gerät müsste es bei Android 5.x auch wieder gehen.

Next chance to get the error message is this evening. Then I want to do the same procedure on the smartphone of my wife  ;).
We will see ....
Anyway the system to buy LoCoins is really quite clever.

"bad" news: yesterdayevening I bought LoCoins and after that the PRO version of the fieldnotes addon in Locus store on the smartphone of my wife without any problems!? I followed exactly the steps I described in my first post.
I will inform you when the error occurs next time.

yes, it was my first try to purchase LoCoins.
I am always been asked for the password when I buy something via the Google Play store because I did not check the corresponding checkbox "Nicht mehr nachfragen" bzw. "Passwort merken" oder so ähnlich / or something like that  ;).

Maybe my mistake was that I do not have any LoCoins on my account and the wanted to buy the PRO Version of the fieldnotes addon.  After clicking "Kaufen" I wanted to add some LoCoins to my empty account. And then the error occured.

Maybe the better way would be first buy enough LoCoins via the main menu "LoCoins kaufen" of the Locus store and then with enough LoCoins already present buy the corresponding thing in the Locus Store. In my case the PRO version of the fieldnotes addon.

Or maybe it is "only" a Google Play store problem.

I do not know why but now 200 LoCoins are on my Locus Store account.
Although there was an error and some troubles, everything works as expected, but not so fast as I expected  ;).

Hello,

I have problems buying LoCoins after installing Locus Pro 3.7.0.

That is:
(1.) I want to download the new PRO Version of the fieldnotes addon via locus store.
(2.) I clicked on "Kaufen" to get the addon.
(3.) Because I have no LoCoins bought so far I clicked on "LOCOINS KAUFEN"
(4.) After selecting 200 LoCoins I entered my password for the Google Play store. To be honest, the first try produced a failure, because I have entered a wrong password. But the second try accepted the password.
(5.) After that I get an error message (sorry I do not know the exact message anymore)
(6.) Despite the error message my balance at the Google Play store was reduced by 2,38 EUR for 200 LoCoins.
(7.) But the available LoCoins shown in the Locus Store is still set to 0!?
(8.) Then I want to buy another 200 LoCoins but Google Play says "Fehler: Diesen Artikel haben sie bereits."

What do I have to do to
either get my 2,38 EUR back to my Google Play balance ....
or get 200 LoCoins on my Locus store account to buy the fieldnotes addon?

I would prefer the second possibility  ;).

Kann es sein, dass es an Groundspeak liegt?
Die haben wohl Probleme ....

Hello,

I am using Locus Pro 3.6.0 on a Samsung Galaxy S4 with Android 4.4.2 installed.

There are two links on the tab "ALLGEMEIN" of a geocache.

In the section "GEOCACHE" there is a link labeled with "CACHE-CODE".
In the section "LINKS" there is a link labeled with "URL".

My question:
What is the difference of that two links?

My problem (maybe not really a big problem ;)):
I have the original groudspeak app installed on my device.
If I click on the "CACHE-CODE" link and then want to show the info of that cache within the original groundspeak app, everything works as expected.
If I click on the "URL" link and then want to show the info within the original groundspeak app, an error windows occurs saying "Ungültige URL für Geocache".

Hallo,

via "Einstellungen" --> "Routenführung (Guiding)" kann man das auch komfortabler einstellen.
Im Abschnitt "Darstellung auf der Karte" kann man die Anzeigewerte für "Über der Routenführungslinie anzeigen" bzw. "Unter der der Routenführungslinie anzeigen" verwalten.

For me it is not a big problem. My suggestion would only be an improvement. But I can live with the solution realized so far in the Locus Pro version without any changes.

I am using GSAK to create the gpx file with the geocaches for import in Locus Pro.
If it trouble me, I can optimize the creation of this gpx file within GSAK by copying the "short description" in front of the "long description" and than empty the "short description" before createing the gpx file for Locus Pro. So when Locus Pro is importing this gpx file, "short description" is always empty ( Info in "Allgemein" tab is empty too ). But the "Listing" tab contains the "short description" in front of the "long description" separated by a line.

Hello menion,

I suspect, you show the "short decription" of the geocache in the "Allgemein" tab. Right?

Another possible solution is:
Do not show the "short decription" in "Allgemein" tab at all.
Instead put this info in "Listing" tab in front of the "long description" info.
Maybe separated the two descriptions via a line.
And maybe handle this behaviour by a checkbox in the settings.
