  jen zaplňuj ...

  nápad je to vskutku neotřelý. Tahle funkčnost v aplikaci ale dávno je. Tedy .. v aplikaci kterou používám já. Officiální verze to samozřejmě nemá. No nejsem si jistý kolik lidí by to využilo. Je sice pravda, že appka není 100% spolehlivá na všech cartridžích, ale zase na druhou stranu, spolu s Honzou (autorem OpenWIGu), snad úspěšně elimujeme (hlavně tedy on) množství nefunkčních her. Pokud by jsi byl vývojář cartridží a chtěl tu svou otestovat nanečisto, mohl bych ti poslat nějakou časově omezenou verzi s touhle odemčenou funkčností. Jinak bych spíše preferoval vytvořit seznam fungujících keší a řídit se tím. Není jich tolik aby se seznam nedal udělat ...

  no pokud by o tvoje řešení byl velký zájem tak bychom to nějak promysleli, ale jinak jak jsem psal ...

  o programu na posílání virtuální polohy nevím, lze ale takto testovat v SDK emulátoru, kam posílat souřadnice jdou. Je to tedy v podstatě to samé co jsi chtěl jen ne přímo v telefonu ale v emulátoru. Takže kdyžtak zkus to (pokud by se nedařilo emulátor rozchodit, můžu poradit)

za návod není zač, snad to bude jasné a pochopitelné ...

ohledně přerušení a následném pokračování stahování - to jsem moc dobře nenapsal. Takhle funkčnost je v Locusu. Jak je to v Mobile Atlas Creatoru, to nevím, nepoužívám ho. Pokud tam taková funkčnost chybí budeš se muset obrátit na jeho autory ...

  this suggestion it's not for first time that i heard. I still have a philosophy, that Locus is only something like paper map. Just app that show maps, fast and as good as possible. For all other things on map (waypoins, recording track, navigation, ...), exist SmartMaps application. But SmartMaps have a big mistake - maps (have to say very good) exist only for Czech Republic.

  I also miss possibility to sell apps in Czech. If this will be available, I'll create two versions. Payed with this functionality, but ... no possibility to sell now.

  using another map source in SmartMaps should sound very nice, but unfortunately this is not, and this will not by possible. SmartMaps is commercial application, which is completely free for use, but maps with measure better then 1:300 000 are payed. This is how PlanStudio earn money for this product.

    I don't understand. If you want to use SmartMaps without payed maps, just use free maps available from 'update screen', or 'Blank map'.

   reality is that SmartMaps is not developed as my "after-work before night hobby" ... I do this for almost whole last year as full time job payed by PlanStudio. So, there is no way to allow use any other maps then maps from PlanStudio. But about using any other online maps, this is holded by possibility to sell apps on Android market. I already created plugin to SmartMaps, than enable using online OSM maps. We wanted to sell this plugin for few dollars on market, but this is not still allowed in Czech republic. On second hand, there is always any way to do this, but people in Planstudio, seems to be ... not so interested!

no s těmi složkami, osobně bych to taky více řešil, ale bohužel mi přijde že na kartě v androidu prostě pořádek udržet nelze. Je to takový bordel během chvíle že to je děsný. Bohužel pro práci s mapami potřebuje WhereYouGo ještě soubory nakešované v cache adresáři Locusu, nejsou to tedy jen samotné mapy. Locus samotný ale nainstalovaný být nemusí. No možnost přesunu map (a i cache adresáře) je realizovatelná, ale přiznám se že právě vzhledem k nepořádku na kartě, mi přijde až zcela zbytečná.

vytváření offline map jiným způsobem na PC

jinak vytvořil jsem v Locusu i kompet cykloatlas cca 1200MB, chvilku to trvalo pravda ale bez problému. Navíc pokud ti při vytváření nějaka dlaždice chybí, nebo chceš stahování přerušit a porkačovat jindy, tak není problém. Stav se uloží a lze potom navázat kde jsi skončil ...

ad 1) upraveno, přidán link na toto fórum
ad 2) aplikace využívá pouze offline mapy podporované v aplikaci Locus, tzn ty které v Locus fungují. Možnost nastavení jiného adresáře by tedy musela být práve v Locusu. Promyslím ale nevím nakolik to má využití. Společný porporovaný formát s jinou appkou v podstatě není. Částečně umí načítat trekBuddy mapy ale ne celé atlasy. Též teď zvládne ozi mapy ale musí být předělané do jiného formátu ...

  about saving cartridges and resolving ... it have to be some prolem in WhereYouGo code, not in openWig, so I'll look at it during next week. As you said, it'S not a major bug ...

  • Android web browser (and extensions like Dolphin Browser, ...) have bug when downloading GWC files (as well as other file types, for example locations on geocaching.com). So for correct work, you have to download GWC files thanks to your desktop computer. Use firefox, opera, internet explorer, just whatever but DO NOT USE PHONE BROWSER, PLEASE!
  • Thanks to fuhur testing - Opera Mobile browser allow direct download of cartridges in field!

  • there are NO savegame files GWS as on other platforms. This feature is not currently implemented. Instead, WhereYouGo, as well as OpenWIG, use inner OWS format which cannot unlock game on Wherigo pages!!!
  • so, to complete cartridge, you have to use UNLOCK KEY. If this is not implemented in cartridge, ask creator, to do this!

  when you look in any text editor on files you send me, all are only web pages but named *.gwc and not *.html ... please use your desktop browser (firefox or opera) and download correct files, copy then onto sd card, try it and let me know

I hate this message, you're not first who send me this error but I can't really find the way ho to solve it and even how to do it on my own phone. I believe then when you restart your phone, or just kill by e.g. taskiller "locus", this error will not happen again ...

  I'll try to find some time to fix this terrible issue as soon as possible ...
