Implemented / Re: Double taps to zoom
February 24, 2011, 06:02:02
I agree with cseu, what I can then do with hidding tabs? I don't see much useful double tapping for zoom. I should add some new settings that allow to double tap to zoom in, but I have no idea what to do to show hidden panels ...

Exactly, that should work ...

system is very easy. All sqlitedb maps in one directory work as one map. When you display map, I test if first map containt images, if so load them, if not, try another map. In next step I first use lastly used map so speed should be always good enough because of using last map file. When you have some double tiles in files, that should be problem. Problem should be if you don't have tiles on some place. I have to then test all files and that should slow down map display a little but I have not yet tested to be true :)

Hi miGi,
as I look on your maps, problem is not only decimal number of zoom level. Main problem is this ...

"0 - type of map provider, 0 means classic Mapnik server (OSM, ...). No others currently possible"

this server have not so much complicated tile system, as you wrote but tile numbers are not numbers defined in same way as in mapnik server that use for example OSM. I'll look later on your map anyway, adding this map is not currently possible as I see...

I can see 28% of strings translated on Crowdin. Good work!

About issue, hmm interesting, but without any log I cannot do nothing. There is also chance. Can you download any software from market called log collector or similar, that allow to catch software crash. You then start Locus, go to tracks screen and after crash, you start log collector and send me information it obtain. I'll write more info if you do no succed ..

hi,
if locus crash, in locus/logs may be some files. If so, please send me them ... thanks

so that looks, that support for huge maps directly in Mobac will not be ... I discussed this here today. So it's up on us :)

25.2.2011 - Locus 0.9.22.1
This is exactly same version as on market with one change. Enabled My Maps (add them to right panel to use). After hour of thinking I decided, that is almost unrealisable to create My Maps as addon to Locus. I also want to add support to google fusion tables and more and this will be still problem, if all will be only as addon. Contact are only one screen called from one place but this need to be integrated in whole application and this is problem. So, all this will be as regular part of application. If any negative comments, you have to help me say them truth (truth that I really need all your contacts and account information ;) )
  • My Maps enabled

PS: Huge maps testing remain ... more in topic about Huge maps here viewtopic.php?f=21&t=139

percentage isn't good idea. On big areas it should be really big value. something like 1km should be fine I think ...
#13494
I'm already working on it, don't worry, solution will be available. Anyway I'll not do direct support into Locus to download and automatically separate this big map files. It should be better to create this by Mobac and then separate to more files as you wrote.

Ah, you mean full screen like this. I thought full screen like hidden top system status bar. Hmm, so you want to hide top and bottom panel in Locus. Finally I understand ...

I have to think about it a little more...

Please do not combine English topic with Czech. If you have problem communicate in English, just create new topic with your wish, best with prefix "[CZ] - my wish" ...

and about your question:
sounds to POI doesn't seem to be much useful actually. So maybe later...

to Yawningdog:
1) - as I wrote, you can enable fullscreen in settings
    - hmm bearing ... for last two points? OK, I'll think about it ...

2) all screenshots are automatically saved into Locus/data/photo_screenshot directory!

February 22, 2011, 10:02:51
