hmm I'm still confuse with directories and path you talk about . I have locus installed on internal memory, but I'm sure that I'm not creating during start some directories like "external-sd" or others

  you have rotation problems? This could be because of not-calibrated compass or you may try "disable compass button" on satellite screen which enable map rotation by bearing from gps

hmm damn, thanks for log. They all contain same problem - "out of memory". So seems that there have to be some memory problem. But this error have one big issue. I cannot find where in code is problem. As I'm playing with Locus, I don't have such errors. i also did some memory tests and all seems to be fine. So I need some help to find where is problem. Best is to try change something. For example to use Locus as usual. When it crash, just hide all visible points and then do stuff as usual. If this also crash, just try not vector maps but some already downloaded, etc.

jo tak to už vůbec ne ty mapy jsou jen obrázky jak kdyby jsi si kreslil v malování na počítači

no to nezávisí tolik na mě. Pro vykreslování vektorových map používám knihovnu která se jmenuje MapsForge. Takže závisí jak to zapracují oni. Jelikož to dělají jako openSource projekt (zdarma) tak s tím moc nespěchají. Mají už ale udělané to, že lze vygenerovat ještě jiné soubory které se pak využijí jen pro offline hledání adres. Takže mám v plánu počkat jestli na adresách nezačnou pracovat a pokud ne tak buď to zkusím napsat sám a nebo budu využívat (a umožním stahování již vygenerovaných souborů) ty soubory a bude se hledat v nich. No a časově .. rád bych do konce roku ale nemůžu slíbit. Pokud ti jde hlavně o to hledání, tak raději zatím zůstaň u té Free verze a určitě to uvidiíš v novinkách pokud se něco takového zprovozní

  thanks for email. Problem with compass should be fixed with calibration (just rotate your phone about all three axis). About crashing. Please try last version from market. I did some small updates but you'll probably still have same problem, so try to save log with CatLog probram and send me it. Also some small description will be welcome what did you do before crash. Looks there is some memory problem but just from log it's almost impossible to find source of troubles ... thank you

perfect, if you'll be stuck on some problem, write me email with some maps sample. It's much faster for me to check where is problem then for you ...

EDIT: stebu don't play with this too much. I'm currently communicating with Al, and he reports also some problems with zoom so it will definitely be in Locus itself
