Hi Chaos,
I know I know ... this topic is discuss here viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1166

locus is currently blocked for some zoom layers without any notify to me and no warning even when all terms of use are valid. Yes I donated a few days ago not a small amount to cover some damage mainly few months ago. I'm trying as much to lower some downloading from servers (many maps to choose, now also direct vector map downloading from own server) but seems it's not enough ...

Maps / Re: [MAPS] - Vector maps

64Bit system is surely needed for bigger maps, but small can be also converted with HD parameter. Anyway I'm facing many problems with MapsForge map writer. It's reaaaaaly very very buggy!

Many problems have been solved by separating area to small once but one main problem remain and I have still no solution, so I'll try if anyone from you don't solve it with some method.

Problem is causing me Netherland! It's going to be really big and map-writter throw exception when I try to convert it. Separating to north and south part don't help. Is anyone success with some prepared map? or own cut from planet file? I'll probably today or tomorrow release version that also works with new generated map file but I have to place there old netherland file because of this issue

fine you finally discovered this :)

this wasn't never active before ... weird. If you want quickly display these waypoint, I suggest to add "Geocaching tools" button on right panel and there is function called "load all waypoints" ... this should help

may you step by step describe me what you do? waypoint attached to cache are under cache page in locus on second button on bottom panel ..

thanks, map is now working (there was one small issue in locus because of atypical size of tiles). May you send me contact to owner? I need some answers from him before I'll add these maps into Locus

I just installed c:geo and tryed first geocache. Downloaded and stored in c:geo and then over menu -> navigate -> locus displayed in Locus and all correctly also with waypoints. Nice, don't even know about it ...

Other features / Re: CloudMade "navigation"

Quote from: "stebu"Navigated with "autozoom", don't really like it :(. But it might be a little more useful, if it would be switched on only during navigation (setting: Off, while navigating, always on).

The voice guidance sometimes tells you lies in situation like "After 50m turn left then after 200m turn right". The second distance is often wrong (I think it might be the first distance repeated).

But these are minor things, the navigation (with Mapquest) gets me where I want to. And that's the major thing!

stebu thanks for email. But when I start navigation (car short) from point
N60.26443, E024.96231 to N60.26282, E024.85737, I heard correct values ...

heh, I've got it. You mean this way when you compute as "cycle" right? Nice :). When you disable navigation, you'll see on this path, red dots. These places contain navigation information, so you may see that there is "missing" point and that value you heard is for next cross and not the nearest ...
