so still no success with Netherlands. I also wrote PM to dibrial with simple question ... I need to separate Netherlands to few parts because bugged MapsForge map creator cannot convert whole file for unknown reason. Cloudmade already offer (http://downloads.cloudmade.com/europe/w ... readcrumbs) prepared few parts so I'm asking if this is problem for using or not. Problem here is mainly that MapsForge library cannot handle more then one file at once .. :/

rlirmeir: I have much important task on shedule, last two weeks I was fighting with generating vector maps, now I started fighting with OSM troubles (and creating own tile server), during that I'm doing some small improvements, but because I have no simple idea how to implement this what you want, I'm leaving it be for now. In new version will be backup manager function that allow to compress all main data into one pack and restore it on another device or later when needed, so maybe this helps you at least little bit

hi dreamteam, thanks for info. I have started with one friend work on own tile server that will switch osm classic to this, so I hope this will solve osm classic issue. Solution from iPhone app is also possible of course, but it's not exactly what I want to do. I'll rather allow downloading to Locus Pro users, and viewing for Locus Free users and we'll see how this will works

  glad you like it. I cannot find source of troubles. Try to delete cache in Locus settings. If this not help, try to rename your sqlite map file. Just change a name a little

try download from this link http://bit.ly/vectormaps map you need and place it to ../locus/mapsVector directory

you may also check another OSM maps, or there is many others like MapQuest, ArcGIS and few other types of OSM

expect that New Zealand map isn't perfect on north coast. I was already looking at this map and as on many other places, there is problem with MapsForge library. Anyway except white background instead of blue, all is fine

hey, did you updated Locus to last version? If not do it. Old australia map do not offer update, so delete it if you have already downloaded it and check Oceania directory in downloading screen. New Zealand map is there and have ... 70MB .

  I just moved your topic to Troubles & Questions section. I'm not sure what exactly you need? If you want same map as is on openstreetmap.org, then this is now not possible. You may anyway download many others maps directly in Locus. If you want vector map of Marroc, then for this you need Addon Vector maps, or you may create your own or you may download older (max few months) maps from here viewtopic.php?f=15&t=821#p4627

 so describe what you exactly need if you want more precise help ...

if correct. There was problem with 512x512 tile size. All other maps usually use 256x256 tiles. Anyway this is fixed now and this definition should also work

  these all are nice ideas. Anyway they're little bit against my philosophy. Because i don't like if application do too many things instead of user. So there should be cases when you ideas should be welcome, but also opposite. So if more people say theirs opinion, and on some functionality we find same sight, I'll add it.

yes, typical anyway, when this occur again, try to check name of photo and also try to take log. Maybe there is some special character in photo name, or whatever, log help
