  what is your version? I have just tried this and locus works almost as expected. "Download" button on email, cause mess with file and it's not able to import. "Preview" button allow to import correctly. Anyway because GMail client is really stupid with handling with attached files, I really suggest to use app like "Save my attach" that allow download files correctly and then simply import them to Locus manually (of course if "Preview" button functionality don't work for you)

and what about using backup manager .. did your tried this? Maybe storing settings by this will be faster. Anyway count that after restoring preferences, restart of application is really needed, so whole process take some time

(and glad you like - it's fantastic mainly thanks to perfect and very helpful community that is around locus)

  unfortunately this is not possible. Google have very weird policy and allow to use their directions API only on google maps. Problem is there that i cannot use their google maps because they do not allow other access then with their android component which is absolutely useless for me. So sorry, but for now, I have no solution of this ...

ach ... will be fixed in new version. Current is 1.14.0 .. so probably during weekend in 1.14.1

"this is already there". In settings > Miscellaneous > Global is possibility to save whole application settings (or restore) ... but truth is that changing this settings is little bit "unfriendly"

  I don't think that transparency change something here. Tiles are precisely defined areas (256x256) pixels, and I'm loading them one next to other. No overlays aren't allowed. So even if transparency will be working, there will still be white space below transparent pixels. This can only change if some overlay will be working in Locus (which was already requested here on forum but denied due to memory limitations of android devices ... but I'm not saying it's not solvable)

hmm sorry. its problem in settings... I'll look on it tomorrow, but count that there is no settings for disabling these popups

it's because your messaging application send location data in some weird format. Are you familiar with some log application? Install CatLog from android market and after action on screenshots, start this app and send me result saved from menu. This helps me ...
