Hi Fangen,
provide me please exact coordinates where you try to get address
#10892
finally few reasonable posts, thanks guys :)

bongo, I really cannot serve ... separate data, it's my only advice. Otherwise you're using wrong software ...

Hi,
this is not a bug. It was bug if this worked for you before :). For creating permanent tracks that you can use later (I mean that will not be overwritten with new calculation) you have to use function called "Add new route" and here define and store route .. these will remain untouched by new calculation

you mean read huge *.png file with one *.map file on phone? This is really terrible ... it will be really very slow even impossible to cut off only part from png file that you want currently display and it's also impossible to hold in memory some bigger png file ...

support for custom projections is already implemented (for around 14 days). I use it now only on WMS services, but next will come. Probably configuration files from converted Ozi maps? If you want, you may help me with this ... at least with some sample files :)

anyway about direct using of Ozi maps .. this isn't possible. Ozi format is as I know, binary format that cannot be used in any other then Ozi application. Also I don't saw any documentation for this on web

Hmm I see my mistake now. I allowed only 2 points for calibration anyway method I use for compute needs three. So add one more point and try again!

About GC Live, psst ... it's not yet official even it works with main gc web server ;)

about download, seems I have to update tapatalk plugin here on forum

maybe something like this? http://www.xda-developers.com/tag/zte-blade/

max memory that can applications use is called "Heap limit"
#10899
this is not about ram, it's about memory that system allow to application use. Hi-end devices allow around 24MB, low-end usually around 16. Locus itself take around 10MB, so there usually do not remain a lot of space for huge operations ... I really suggest separate import to few categories. I unfortunately cannot help here
#10900
I just tried to import 10k caches and it works quite good. Anyway I have SGS2 and it's not just more powerful, but mainly it allow to apps to use more memory then your phone. So I really suggest to separate your data to more categories. You'll also find working with more categories more comfortable then current with one big.

About deleting ... go to Categories screen and here you may tap on category and choose delete
#10901
when you press "import data" on data manager screen, there is checkbox on bottom "Only display". This is what I mean when i say only display :). Anyway uncheck this button and import data you want to display into some category. With this system there isn't any limit. Locus should handle really a lot of points. When you keep "Only display" checked, I suggest to limit number of displayed points. Here is problem that all data needs to be keep in memory and in case you want to display geocaches, there is really a lot of data.

anyway bongo I really suggest to test by your own. If you have any problem with importing few thousands of pois into category (not "Only display"), send me your problematic file and I'll look at it.
#10902
hmm import or direct display? Import should have not be limited ...

direct display is limited  by memory. In case of geocache I do not suggest to directly display more then 500 caches. About displaying points from database ... limit also depend on device, but should be at least around 20k points on low-end devices I think ...

Quote from: "stebu"On the other hand, the possibility to download directly from a web site is great!

Or would be if it worked :!:  :?:
On a 1072 point POI file (ZIP) I had to force close Locus. On a smaller file (40 POIs) Locus emptied the category, but did not add the new POIs.

Both files work when I download the zip files into a folder and then import from local file.

problem fixed now (not in new testing version yet). It's because I do not extract zip files after download. Now it works correctly

don't understand ... you mean map downloading? seems working for me ...
