hmm it seems like some problem on Google side. When I request for address, I receive many information. But main address is separated into two lines.
 
for example, when i request address in Prague or any other big city, I receive one line with street and house number and second with Prague subarea name and post code. In case of Budapest, I receive opposite order for unknown reason! And because first line is filled, I use this. Hmm quite weird ... is this basic searh function work correctly in Google maps or other big android program?

ah thanks, forget to add some scrollable background. Anyway how this works for you (not just Richard)? I was playing with it quite a lot and seems that except memory limits, this feature is quite intuitive and easy to handle and mainly working. For some field quick calibration, seems enough ...

this can be partially done by disabling address search and tapping on map with long click ... not exactly what you want, agree ...

hi Scylla, if maps on dropbox are for me, then I have to regret. My response for krzysiekz was just if he have some already downloaded map and script that do not work for him due to limits of computer, I should try to run on my computer. Anyway I just don't have time and taste to play with some garmin conversion.

- I think that instead of panning map to first point, is much better to tap on single track and check name there
- anyway second point is nice idea, so I added similar small on map dialog as is on highlighted waypoints ...

I don't know this software. But when you generate more tar maps of same region in different zoom levels, try to name them in correct order like map01.zip, map02.zip, etc ... and place them into one subdirectory of locus/maps directory. This should work then as multi-layer map

  you created one layer tar map file. This file can have only one level (and that's why you see greyed zoom buttons). You can anyway re-raster this map by pressing last button on bottom panel (zoom lock) which then allow to zoom in/out (only a little) in selected one layer ...

I'm playing with this ... in locus is using (forcing) utf-8 encoding for external files. I was trying to leave this settings off and just load file, but without correctly set encoding in file, this don't work. So to do not broke already working solution, I'll leave system as is. This mean you have to have files encoded in utf-8. Example how I achieved this. Download notepad++ program. Install, open html file and from top menu select encoding > convert to UTF-8. That's all, now it should work correctly

with links in file ... there was simple problem as I discovered. They were loaded by locus, but never displayed. So fixed now ..

because it allow you quickly change GPS on/off state in locus without need to search settings in system. Also you can use GPS in any other application and use locus only for map viewing without need to use gps. If you want to have GPS enabled everytime you start Locus, check settings, there is this option (anyway this also do not affect system GPS settings)

no to je nějaká kravina, tohle má fungovat se všemi waypointy ... podle vlákna, to máš keše z toho addonu? musím to zkusit protože na keše z PQ to určitě funguje

jo ne tak blbnu, ono to wpty načítat ani nemůže .. heh, musíme to pořešit
