  I cannot say now what exactly, but many changes was done and as I remember correctly, also one that unfortunately breaked backward compatibility. I noticed all addon developers that I know that have published addon on market. Don't know you have also one. So sorry for that, please update to last API version http://code.google.com/p/android-locus-map/, it will be simple process

that's correct

every database has it's own icon, you define. All points in category have ability to have defined also own icon. When there is no icon defined, than these points takes icon from category. When is defined (you define manually later, geocaches or usually KML files with style tag - your case) own icon, category icon have no influence on this. You may check your KML file. It will for sure contain <style> attribute at points that will define own icon

- if you change icon of category (by editing category in category screen), all points in this category change icon
- and customize icons? You mean your own? Just pack your icons into zip file and place it into locus/icons directory

yes, leave at least dots if you want have visible labels

hmm interesting. Cannot be problem when you copied files from directory I uploaded to, to another by your choice? Because I have probably no influence on this. We should check this during next map update

I don't know if you already solved something or not. Anyway if you export RMAP for locus and this not work, try last testing version viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1537#p9270. If map will still not work, let me know and I'll check it (together with some sample map)

Hmm, i did not know this, the only thing ive ever coded on android is a kind of hello world, just to get a taste of it. Obviously, ive never registred on market to explore it on the dev side (i probably should have, lol).

Anyway, whats "an instance" ? A copy installed on a device assigned to the acc ? An actual running app instance ? Anything else ?

hmm I personally do not know exactly : I decided at start that I'll not care about it. Anyway point is, that this possibility exist so not every application have to have unlimited number of installs at once
