The permanent shutdown of the displayed routes and points does not have logic. Other "eyes" work as a hiding/view switches. But for routes and points, they are switches: "just turn off". If it should stay, it would be a good place to use another symbol.

I could start LM only one time ... but now I have a crash while starting the app.

Definitely needed: Allow to filter out any setting. I don't need temp. map items or map overlays. You're probably hesitant because new users, shoot in the foot etc...

I did not consider that the Android settings are responsible for the pause-issue, because I have so often compared the Android settings for LM4 with those for LM4, and they were equal! But only LM4 had the pause-issue.

But:

Android had noticed, that LM4 is a much power consuming app. For LM3 there was no hint from Android regarding power consumption. I think the reason is, that since I have installed LM4, I rarely used LM3 anymore. Therefore Android did not classify LM3 as a power consuming app, but LM4 indeed and stopped only LM4, while the display ist switched off.

Just an update:
Quite a few new DTMs have been released during the last months, especially in Middle- and Eastern Europe.
Have fun with them!

Presets ... hmm, I do not like problems that contain the word "sometimes" . Please try to find a reliable way to simulate it and I'll gladly look at it.

@menion - I think I have a reliable way to reproduce (for me) but will wait until finished trip to provide good steps for you.

Just installed the latest update. The temperature sensor is now working properly. Thank you for your efforts.

PS: it can easily be that Locus touches the "local" hgt in any case, 1 or 3 alike, but the battery cost would be multiple in case of 1sec, depending on what it is doing.
Also shading and dynamic elevation are OFF, of course
