I'm completely fine with this now that I somewhat know how it works.
My problem was, that I was too reliant on the current/avg. speed calculation and I tought that it should be correct. Knowing, that it is calculated beforehand by the activity type's speed that is also different in different services... Yeah, it makes sense that it was missing the mark.

From now on, at the last hour or kilomenters, I'll just do some quick maths in my head and estimate myself.

I agree with you and Joeloc. JPG 80% should be fine.

FYI:
Google developers recommended jpeg quality is 85%.
Imagemagick's default jpeg quality is 92%

Ich denke es geht hier weder um Kreativität noch irgendeine geldgierige Verschwörung:
- technisch gesehen gibt es einen gemeinsamen Kern beider Versionen - das ist bei einer kleinen Firma wie Asamm nötig (und selbst bei größeren sinnvoll)
- falls / solange die SW-Architektur eine klare Trennung erlaubt, was bei Locus der Fall ist.
- Innovation (jenseits des gemeinsamen Kerns) kommt in der UI und mit extra Features - logischerweise nur in der neuen Version
- Die Umstellung von Einmalkauf zu Subskription ist eine Überlebensfrage in dem Moment wo monatlich Gehälter gezahlt werden müssen, denn dieser spezielle Markt wächst nicht mehr schnell genug (allenfalls in der anderen (Komoot-) Ecke).
- Ein halbes Bier pro Monat sollte niemandes Blutdruck steigen lassen, oder?
- Und ich sehe keinen Hinweis, dass Locus Classic verschwindet (wegen s.o.)

In 4.11.1.3, the side panel can't be displayed any more by double clicking (setting = hide automatically)

RE: Fullscreen. Regrettably, but yes. I've noticed hacks and problems in the past, also in other apps (eg Moon+ Reader). Small step back, but we'll survive it 😉

Even as a "master" of world maps I do not recall the reason for applying them to non-vector maps, tbh.
I agree with John and Menion that the original motivation for the world maps (crappy vector rendering at low zooms) should be the very reason to restrict them to those.
When you touch the related code - again, Menion, you might find an easy way to avoid vector rendering at all, if opacity for the world map is 100% ... Currently vector maps are drawn first, then the world map is applied on top. "100% overlay means no need for the alternate rendering" also applies to the other overlay feature, too, btw.

V backup manageru to chtělo skrze google potvrdit, že můžete upravovat všechny moje soubory. Záloha nyní proběhla, ale do cloudu se uložil jen prázdný dočasný soubor 2022-08-10_00-07-52_Locus_Map.temp.
Předpokládám, že to může být způsobeno tím, že nějakou dobu ta záloha visela ve frontě v Locusu. Další záloha do googlu nejde vyvolat, tak jsem nastavil denní zálohu a dám vědět zítra.
