In Route Planner, changing a trackpoint to a green shaping point makes Locus crash reliably.

No matter if I come from an existing track via Re-Route or on planning a new track.

I wanted to change an old planned track, which just has 4 shaping points (another old bug, they disappear for unknown reasons) - I can't change it, have to create a new track.

Don't want to sound too confident, but with the update to Android 13 on my S22 the issue seems to be gone. Haven't seen any dimming since then so far, even in direct sunlight after some minutes. Crossing fingers!

Locus classic as well as Locus 4 DO work on Android 8. I just happen to set up an old A8 Samsung with Locus 4 as a backup.
When it coms to Android 11+, you will suffer from a lot of restrictions re. file system access.
Also, Samsung screwed up their temperature management for some newer devices, so people are wheeping about dimming after a few seconds.
So, maybe more than one reason to go the LG way ...

Support for LM classic will not be reduced. This function has never existed before. You can always use the old version. GC4L is still supported by Locus (this is part of the support for LM classic). And for an external app the manufacturer has to give support. You just have to reach Arcao and get their

We tested
-using on-and offline maps (no difference),
-no wps (no difference)
-no active kml (no difference)
-only points and tracks (no difference)
-all settings default (except screen allways on!)
rollback to 3.54.3 seems to solve the 'crash' problem (bus still a pretty high memory usage).

@hendo It seems that you have discovered an issue in our store related to OS maps in version 2021. The issue should be fixed now. Please remove your not working OS maps (look for them in the Store -> REMOVE button) and download version 2021 again.

My Xiaomi Redmi Note 9s has just upgraded to android 11, but I'm now unable to connect to ant+ devices (it was working perfect on android 10). When I try to connect a device, Locus (4.12.1) tells ant+ is not available on the phone. I've already checked all ant+ related packages are installed

I'm using a Xiaomi phone myself, and as far as I know Xiaomi is no longer supporting Ant+ since Android 11. Ant+ in general is a dying out technology, even latest Samsung phones aren't suporting it any more.

e.g. if no checkbox is selected for size, "all selected" is still displayed and all sizes are searched for.

can you please add 3 more checkboxes for search criteria
- display found caches
- own caches
- temporary deactivated caches

@menion - although certainly not thorough or extensive testing yet, but the changes you have made for xDOP filtering for vertical accuracy in track recording has resulted in improvements for me. It is hard to be sure of course, but I mostly take my phone inside with track recording still enabled as a small test, and mostly I don't see huge errors in vertical position anymore. So thanks!
