Tak teď jsem z toho jelen :) Nyní to funguje jako dříve. Dříve to jen probliklo a nic. Tak uvidím dále, ale vím, že se to to na fejsu taky nějak řešilo. Možná byl nějaký problém se sítí.

Thank you.

While searching for a way to update geocaches with V4.23.1, I encountered a problem.

For example, I have entered and saved the coordinates for a mystery that has a final WP without coordinates in the original.
If I search with the Locus "Live Map" or Locus "Search for geocaches" with filter "Mystery" and import them with "overwrite" the coordinates in the Final WP are set to 0 again.
This does not happen when importing a PQ!

TXs, Menion. After deleting this 1.1 GB sync.db and adding a test waypoint and later deleting that one again, my sync.db is 4kB. And the operation is correctly showing "uploading" or so in the first place.

Quick navigation in the toolbar now works when "include navigation commands" is off.

GC Live Map now shows caches on the map again.

But: When starting Locus, map screen content still shows "nothing to display" in Maps. See screenshot.

Thanks and have a nice weekend!

New Beta 4.22.2.3:

After saving a route with manual segments and re-route, "Recalculate all" still ignores manual segments and "destroys" planned route.

OK vyzkouším. Aktuálně jsem si všiml ještě jedné věci. U virtual keší se místo velikosti other/none ukazuje velikost XL, která, ale pak ve výpisu velikostí vůbec není...

@Menion

The Webplanner.
The result by 5.5 kmh is more realistic.
Optimal is to be able set custom speed.
And a gpx export inclusive timestamps.

Anyway find an advisable fine tool here:

@Graf Geo...
Missing navigation instructions > you wrote "Include navigation commands - off" - so why do you expect, there will be any navigation instructions?  :D. They should not be generated even in stable version! But the problems after recalculation are unacceptable. I'll have to look at it. The question is, what to expect here to happen? Hmm, the whole system is starting to be more and more problematic ...
...

I thought I had described it clearly and concisely. So again: It's about the "navigate to" function and not about route planning with saving the route.

Of course, there is a difference whether I create the route with or without navigation instructions. In the first case, the navigation instructions are created immediately, in the second case none are created and if I want to navigate the track, Locus generates navigation instructions based on the track geometry. This works wonderfully, and I personally have better experiences with this than with the navigation instructions created in the same way. And this is exactly how it is described in the manual and in the documentation: "Locus Map automatically generates navigation commands along the route in places of the most remarkable direction changes."

The same happens, of course, if I want to navigate directly to a point or an address, etc. So "navigate to". If the "include navigation commands" function is deactivated, Locus creates navigation instructions based on the geometry. The "Itinerary" lists these, of course without street names (instead "unknown street" - logical, because only the geometry is taken into account). This was the case in all previous versions and also in the current release version. Only the beta does not do this and that is completely nonsensical. You can't tell me that this is what you want.

I prefer navigation based on the route geometry. It's more reliable for me and also works off-road. I've been using it for years and have always found it better and clearer than the instructions when "include navigation commands" is activated.

I'll repeat the steps again to avoid misunderstandings.
Stable release version 4.22.2:

  • I click on a point.
  • I click on "navigate to" (icon below), "include navigation commands" is deactivated.
  • Route is calculated and displayed (of course without blue dots on the track).
  • I click on the navigation icon at the top.
  • I select navigation.
  • Navigation starts, navigation instructions are displayed.
  • When I open the "Itenerary" list, all instructions up to the destination are listed (all items "unknown street", of course).

You and anyone else can check this.

But in the last beta there are no instructions. Completely nonsensical.

QuoteNo other route planner generates time stamps.

Well, some other do, by means of a configurable avg speed set up.
A correctly timestamped track can so be quite informative.
In attachment a simple timestamped track.  Avg speed set: 4 kmh.
According to the route planner, you need 1h32' to walk from the train station to my local pub.
The terrain is flat and simple so the timestamps calculated by avg speed are representative.

Also the Plotaroute web planner adds reference timestamps in track points.
The Plotaroute web planner seems to be very optimised for ETA calculations.

I did not try all this, anyway those interested can give it a try anyway.
Gpx downloads by Plotaroute can add Locus compatible navigation hints (if set).
Download as: GPS > GPX > Track > Directions > Download this route.

Thanks a lot for the release, Menion. According to my initial tests, it looks good! No more problems with the red circles. Addresses are updated in the route planner when dragging and adding points. No more nonsensical track time values when recalculating and "overwriting" a route. Perfect.

Only the German translation of "collapse/expand" is not ideal. Perhaps "einklappen/ausklappen" or "zusammenfassen/erweitern" would be better. SCHLIESSEN is more like "close".

I can confirm the error reported by freischneider, it still occurs.

Quotespeed improvement in opening the "Set the main directory" screen
thanks for improvement, now it takes ~4 min for me, half the time as before

For the moment it's not possible. You have to copy the photo folders.

I believe this will be made possible in the future. But no idea when.

@Graf Geo - for me in 4.21.1.4 there is just a single line at the bottom - same as pre beta

Quote from: Graf Geo on March 08, 2024, 23:20:16The "collaps" function is very practical
I've never seen this menu function, and dragging down the panel now works fine for me anyway

I've not seen these either
