Themes - Vector maps / Re: [Theme] Tapiola

Quote from: Žajdlík Josef on June 27, 2023, 11:39:08Hi Tapio. Would it be possible to create a Quick install like Andrew at Voluntary? When I give the Tapiola.zip to the Android/Media folder ... Mapsvector/_Themes, my locus doesn't see him.

Tapio's zip alone works like a charm.
Download, click (in a file manager), select Locus as handler, wait some seconds until Locus has created its internal extract, enjoy!

Sorry, mit jenen 8 MF-Dateien habe ich mich noch nicht beschäftigt.

Quote from: Hispanico on June 25, 2023, 11:21:57I try also to put files in sdcard but not solve

You mean you put the track files on SD ? Or maps?

Man will ja nicht Zettels Traum übersetzen ...

deepl.com liefert übrigens wesentlich bessere Qualität beim Übersetzen, in beide Richtungen.

Ich habe den Helpdesk (vor 10 Jahren) direkt in der App im Hauptmenü gefunden: unten links in LM4, oben links in LM3 classic.

Agree with Tapio re. help desk, yet a quick thought: depending on manufacturer there is more than one battery related setting. I have seen general battery saving modes, but additionally app specific settings that control the behavior when the app runs in the background.
I would also switch on the "run as a service" setting inside Locus.

AllTrails Web Site does a good thing: put the top level name in all the places where a segment name was.
But that would be tedious.
You can do a similar thing yourself using Notepad++ e.g. on a PC to do a "substitute all" for each file.
Maybe there is a program for PC that does that, too.

@Menion: I'm not fluent in KML, but I see
"
Eremo Gamogna 2 2022-05-05 13:48:07
"
as the first occurrence of name in one of the gpx files. That looks like the expected name, I suppose.
In particular as the file contains only one track.
Just my 2c ...

You might try to do the multiple import way I described; maybe this will preserve the names.
I have no Orux gpx to test myself.

Welcome to Locus :-)
I'm talking about LM4 here: enter Track manager, employ the "+" function, navigate to your local folder (*), long tap one of the desired ones, then check all those you want, finally kick off the mass import.

(*) if the Orux track files should be in its private folder, than use a file manager like x-plore or solid explorer or TC to copy them to the Locus export folder before you start above process.

@BlueCharge: just click on "LM4 final" in Menion's footer (label is misleading).
Then enter the LM3 sub-folder in GD.

PS: re. old track and point data from your PC backup:
- if you had automatic export enabled on your initial phone (the up to 2016 one), then you should have tons of gpx files that you can copy them as Menion described, and then you need to "import" them via Locus
- for point you'd have to flow below:
-- if you have a second phone at hand, then install Locus on it and copy the databases (tracks and points) from the PC to the right place (while Locus is NOT running)
-- start Locus and "export" all tracks and points of interest
-- copy those files to the new phone (via Cloud, PC, whatever you prefer)
-- "import" those files to the new Locus on your new device

OK, that gives more insight into the overall situation. Except:
- has there been Locus usage from 2017 to 2022?
- if yes, are there backup zip files (should be many MB)?
