Hi guys,
another question from a beginner:
sometimes when i use Locus (not as an service) i would like to take a photo. So i press the home-button, go to the home-screen, starting the camera app. After closing the camera app i have to start Locus again. Most of the time Locus continues in the background (gps icon is active in status bar), somtimes Locus is shut down by itself :( but not shut down actively!
How to prevent Locus from shut down? Starting an app from within Locus?
When mountainbiking Locus is all about. Fiddling with gloves is frustrating especially when apps are closed or hidden unespected.
How do you handle this?
Thanx,
Christian

*i know there are special gloves or special wires for sewing into the gloves...

Hi menion,

I have to learn a lot in Locus, i.e finding something. I'm not a GUI specialist. So no worries and no recommendations :)
Have a nice weekend,

QuoteTried the gpsies app without any success
open "gpsies mobil app" open the track you want/ klick on icon"men with flag"/open with/open with locus
Thanx, i know :)
But searching and filtering and checking the results is sometimes painful with the gpsies app.
Anyway...i prefer gps-info and now outdooractive.

I would like to support the idea of gps-portal clients built in Locus.
Tried the gpsies app without any success similar to their mobile device optimized website. Its very useless and frustrating.
Other portals are better but circuitous.

I guess there are API for every portal. Would be nice to have a connection. May be as an Add-on...

Thanx guys. I love this forum and the supprt.
Balloni55 send me on the right way. I did not notice that i have to confirm the action when i choose the directory with pics. So i see the list but all names were grey and can not be choosen :(
So its done easily now and my personal POI is created - even with icon and on the right coordinates.
Beside the support i like the relaxed mood here and the amount of functions in Locus not discovered yet. Absolutely great!
Christian

*one word more: finding this function and proceeding the action is not intuitive :(

Thanx for the hint.
But all fotos are greyed out when i see the directory through Locus Search for geo fotos :(
And yes: all the fotos have Exif with coordinates. Any idea?

Troubles & Questions / [Q] POI from Exif Coordinates
February 04, 2014, 22:46:08
Hi guys,
I have a lot of fotos in my mobile phone shot in the wild. I would like to display the place in Locus where the foto was shot and create a POI while on the run. (no desktop ware available).

Is there any possibility to do this in Locus or is there a work around?

Thanx,
Christian

Found in readme.txt of brouter v0.97
QuoteIf started once more with identical input, BRouter will store a second route broute1.gpx
for the first alternative and so on.
So something is going wrong in brouter...
#715
I expected that everybody start with "navigate to" :)
In this case a track is saved i.e. as "map -> map center". Wondering how brouter0.pgx is generated.
#716
After the track is saved as brouter0 (.gpx ???) in your preferred folder you can / should rename the track in the folder using Locus functions.
May be menion can add the date to the generated trackname.

No. If you format the card in phone through Android GUI you will get a data partition over the whole card in FAT32 readable by Windows.
If you use clockwork you can have a partition with extFAT for Apps on the card ( not easily readable by windows) and a swap partition in extFAT AND a data partition in FAT32.

Tested and proofed with CM 7.x and CM 10.x
