Quote from: Andrew Heard on October 11, 2017, 23:09:27@menion - updated to Locus Pro 3.26 but crash in Route Planner when I tap on the big blue Route Profile button - "Unfortunately Locus Map has stopped" - what do we call this button so everyone here uses same language/ terminology?
It looks you have old phone. What's the Android you use?

It seems more users meet the same problem:
http://help.locusmap.eu/topic/version-3-26-crashes-every-time-if-typ-of-routing-button-is-pressed-in-rout-planing-window

My bet is broken backwards compatibility (Locus minimum Android version is 4.0).

Hi menion, new route planner is awesome, but on old phone which I use only for Locus, there are crashes

- when I open route planner
- when I finish editing track

The device is running Android 4.4.4 KitKat so I don't know if that's a missing backward compatibility or a configuration specific bug. On devices with higher Androids both features seem working.

I confirm the bug reported by matmas.
Right side action for visible object label is not changed to popup menu after closing route planner (crash on tap).

Edit:
+ Yet some bug in tracks manager alphabetic sorting (tracks starting with J, K precede other tracks.

Hello, I see a small change in visible objects behaviour in track planner, so when tapping on icon, a label popups with arrow to open popup menu.
I would suggest to revert old behaviour (label shows + for directly adding the waypoint as via point)
(or control by preferences or config.cfg what is shown on point's label right side during planning). The old behaviour is for track planner more ergonomic, popup menu is OK for normal mode.
I find 3 taps for adding a visible point already too slow.

Edit: eventually, + button can be placed on the left side of the object's label.

Yes the three slider options offer only country selection. The transportation profiles have no adjustments. Can be a bit tuned at data generation time (now only turn costs for car and elevation data use for bike).

I think the country selection could be removed in future versions and autoselect the right data set for computed segment, because the country selection is limitation now (no cross-country routing)

Quote from: poutniklBTW, is there any use for the end user the file config.properties ? Or is it just configuration for data generator ?
Yes, only for data generator.

You get the profiles options in navigation dialogue.

How can I generate graphhopper-tools-VERSION-jar-with-dependencies.jar file myself?

If you mean on Windows, you need Maven (extract to gH dir and rename apache-maven-3.5.0 to maven) and Cygwin/MinGW to run the shell script. Then launch bash graphopper.sh build (on Linux run only the shell command)

@menion: hike works. Is there a complete list of profiles?
A small bug in UI - when switching between profiles in config dialog, compute command checkbox disappears (and compute command option is always reset).

Yes it works, updated Windows bat with precompiled targets:

The pbf size has no hard limitation except RAM and disk space so just try how big data it's able to compile

Updated add-on works perfectly.
Now better routing data can be created using

graph.flag_encoders=car|turn_costs=true,bike2,foot,...
graph.elevation.provider=srtm
prepare.ch.weightings=no
graph.bytesForFlags=8
#55
Hello menion, as I expected the addon doesn't handle elevation data so bike2 profile can't be used to generate data. I get the error toast 'Configured dimension (2) is not equal to dimension of loaded graph (3)'
You can test the behaviour with bike2 routing data here:

Thanks for update.

I see the routing data are compiled only with base profiles.
Does the add-on support profiles with elevation data?
If so, I want to try generate more versatile data.

Zrovna to zkouším, 10 minut je dostatečný timeout. Výpočet trasy na vzdálenost necelých 500km trvá kolem pěti minut, vzdálenost přes 500km se mi nepodařilo proroutovat. Buď Locus vrátí nespecifikovanou chybu ještě před časovým limitem nebo vyprší limit. Ono to trochu dává smysl protože počet kombinací vzrůstá se vzdáleností exponenciálně a Brouter na moc dlouhé trasy asi není stavěný.

Díky moc za vyčerpávající návod. Uvidíme jestli s tím menion něco udělá. Ještě by to chtělo u těchhle dlouhých operací, aby po dokončení Locus vynutil probuzení displeje, zhasne-li při provádění.
#59

Hello menion, a minor bug report:
When trying to change icon for custom quick bookmark preset to external archive, I get error toast File not found. Only for quick bookmarks.
