Why is poi feature in the free version beiing dropped off again?

I generally use "Battery doctor" from play store, to kill all unneccesary progs in background. Together with flymodus and activated bluetooth and an extern BT-gps-mouse, I have no problem to use Locus for more than 10 hours with my S4.
Last track yesterdy was 15 km 5 hours and still 80 % battery left.

It would be fine, if the x-axis in the trackdiagram could be scaled in real time segments or at least in 30min segments and not 100min segments. See attachment 2.

It also would be nice, if it es possible to show starttime of track and endtime of track into the information window under details.

Maybe "Erstellt" is the starttime of track?

 

Great tracking view. Could it possible to ad true tracktime in the x-axis of hight diagramm and not only the lap-time?

Schön einen Grenzsteinsucher hier zu finden. Mache das seit Jahren mit meinen Waldstücken in Oberfranken.Kann gerne einiges dazu beitragen. Setzte Flurkarten der Bay . Vermessung mit Qvadis bearbeitet in *.rmaps um und lade sie auf Note 8 oder S4.
Verwende externe BT-Maus. Bin z.Zt. auf Reisen, setze den Threat von zuhause hier fort.

The reference to thread nr. 1 is a bit misleading.

But neither in Free not in Pro there is an icon for offline poi? To start it.
I had such an icon in a earlier free version?

This point is missing in my installations ?

firstly you need to check if database work. this may be done in:
Menu -> More  -> TESTING FEATURES -> Points of interest

Sorry don't find a place where to download the offline poi database?

The latest update of Locus free doesn't work with my existing poi database, which worked fine some weeks ago.
Is there a chance to use poi's again in Locus?

I agree after using 15 years gps hiking software.

I really don't want to say good bye !
I worked for over 12 years with the QuoVadis software for pc, later together with Pathaway on my old HP hx 4700.
At that time there was no other software available.
Since I am an Android user I joined Locus and as you can read in the apps remarks in Locus where I praised Locus for the best software I have used. So far my position.

I see the the first QVA beta is very poor. But maybe we can see in the future some features which can usefull in Locus too.

From QuaVadis is now an Android GPS navigation software new on the market.
There is a trial version available.

Ich bin seit Jahren mit GPS Mäusen (derzeit Qstarz BT-Q1000P) unterwegs. Das letzte Jahr mit einem S3mini, seit 4 Wochen auch mit einem S4 (noch mit nicht kastrierter extSdcard und 4.3).
Ich verwende GPS häufig auch zur Marksteinsuche in meinem Wald. Dabei zeichne ich zusätzlich immer einen Track auf.
Ohne Zusatzakkus habe ich mindestens 10 h zur Verfügung. Intern GPS ist bei mir immer aus.
Unzuverlässige Werte bekam ich vor einiger Zeit durch einen alternden GPS-Akku, nach Austausch ist alles wieder ok.
Trackabbrüche  habe ich auch ab und zu, die Ursache konnte ich meist nicht nachvollziehen.

In Locus kann man in Trackaufzeichnung verschiedene Einstellungen machen:
Display (de)aktivierung  aus/ein ?, Ein wann ?
LockScreen verhindern Haken?
Display immer an? Spez. wenn GPS an und/oder Guiding/Navigation ??

Fuß 1m 10s 100m, Autostart
GPS & Ortung: Beim Start immer aktivieren, GPS-Ortung Deakt. wo macht Ihr einen Haken ?? Alle anhaken?
Trackaufzeichnung, Routenführung?
BT GPS: Sensor Ein + BT GPS Empfänger verwenden.
Intern GPS Auto-Aus: Haken ja/nein ?
GPS Akt.Intervall: 60s 100m Suchzeit 60s
GPS Auto-Aus aktiviert lassen  Haken ja/nein? Ich denke kein Haken!
3D Skyplot kein Haken.
NEMA aufzeichnen: Nur bei Track.
Wie oft A-GPS Daten zurücksetzen?

Wenn es einmal nicht mit dem Track geklappt hat, fängt man an, an diesen Rädchen wieder zu drehen.
Aber es müßte doch für eine gute Trackaufzeichnung eine optimale Kombination geben?

Als kleine Anlage: Trackaufzeichnung in einem Waldstück mit Marksteinen.

@stargaterunner:  Haken raus, Locus konnte deinstalliert und neu installiert werden. Jetzt läuft alles wieder.
Wofür sind bei Locus bzw. Android Adimrechte notwendig bzw. sinnvoll?
